"...anyways! That's why my project is this sick as hell RAILGUN!!!" Uzi reached to the side, grabbing the railgun before throwing it in the air, catching it, and pointing it at the rest of the class, who all freaked out a little bit because of this.

Uzi rolled their eyes. "Easy, morons. It dosen't work.." they thought for a moment. "YET! It dosen't work yet! Who said it dosen't work? Maybe it does!!" They attempted to activate it, whist laughing manically.

The teacher, however, wasn't amused. He sighed. "Uzi, the homework was a word problem about buying watermelons."

"Oh, and this magnetically amplified photon converger doesn't count?" They said.

He just blinked at them. "...No. Plus, repressed emotional baggage was only worth two points on the rubric. And is it supposed to be that color?" He said, pointing at it.

Uzi looked back at the railgun, which was now glowing bright red. Their eyes widened and they paniked, before the railgun blasted the room, forcing everyone to duck down and injuring Uzi's left eye.

When they opened their eyes again, they noticed Doll looking at them. They covered their injured eye, groaning. Not because they'd been hurt, but because they'd screwed up their one chance to get Doll to think they were cool.

"Uzi, go to the nurses office." The teacher sighed.

--------------------

Uzi touched the bandages on their eye with a cold pack, sighing. The nurse told them they'd only need the bandages for an hour or so, but that felt like forever. In the commotion of their thoughts, one remained prominent: why did they care so much about what Doll thought? It wasn't like they needed anybody to care about them, they could do that on their own. But... it didn't explain why they wanted her to like them.

Suddenly, they heard giggling coming from the hall. It was Lizzy and Doll. Lizzy giggled, "Ew, it didn't kill them!" Lizzy said to Doll, who was giggling at Uzi. Then they both ran away, still laughing.

For some reason, it stung Uzi. Doll was giggling at them. Straight at them. They shook their head. Why did they care? It wasn't like she'd been nice to them before.

Then they heard another voice. "Classic toxic masculinity, Chad! That's never gonna end up problematic..." Uzi glanced over. It was Thad. Thad glanced at Uzi. "Oh wow, Uzi? I heard you, uh-"

"I'm an angsty teen, Thad. Bite me," they said, throwing the cold pack to the side. "Also, how do you know my name? People willingly talk to you."

Thad sat down a seat away from Uzi. He chuckled. "Well, I'd say everyone knows Khan's child, but, uh... Then you might blow the other half of your face off."

"Wow, crippling daddy issues, hilarious." They sighed. "What are you in for? Testosterone too hard?" They said, jokingly.

Thad sat up in his seat. "That can happen? Awesome." He pointed at Uzi's bandages. "Hey, those bandages look pretty badass."

Uzi kinda blinked at him. "Ew. Gross. I hate that you said that."

"So, what's the uh.."

All of a sudden the railgun was pointed at Thad's forehead. "Sick-as-hell railgun?!" they sighed. "Sci-Fi nonsense, that super works! I'm sneaking to the Murder Drone lair tonight to get the last spare part I need to save the world with it and earn my dad's respect and stuff, but mostly the world part." they explained.

They felt a sudden burn in their throat. Holding their hands to their mouth, They coughed a bit, and felt something come out. They looked at their hands seeing oil and.. flowers? The hell?

Thad looked at them with concern. "Is that.. normal for you..?"

They glanced at Thad٫ then got defensive. "Uh! Yes! What's it to you!" they said٫ clutching the railgun.

"I-I'm not trying to be offen-"

"Bite me!" Uzi jumped down from the seat٫ walking out the door and turning a corner. They came back shortly after though. "I'm not mad at you by the way٫ just generally hormonal!!" then they left again.

As they walked٫ they thought about what had just happened. They looked down at their now oil-covered hand with a few flower petals still on it. What the hell happened back there..?

It's probably just an error. Yeah٫ that's it. They couldn't think of another explanation. So that had to be it.

Right?
