Malia, Lydia, and Isabelle walked into school while looking at the dread doctor's book. Scott thinks that they should read it but given that we're just now trying to get back to normal she doesn't want other people in her head but she guessed she'd do it if it keeps them safe.

"The Dread Doctors by T.R. McCammon," Lydia spoke looking at the book

"What? I don't know, there's something about it." Malia admitted to her friends

"Has anyone read it yet?" Isabelle asked as they walked down the hall

"Just me and I didn't understand any of it," Malia answered as they walked down the steps

"We should probably all read it," Isabelle added while looking at her

"Kira's working on that," Lydia spoke making Isabelle nod

"She's making copies?" Isabelle asked the red-head

"Mhm, as we speak" Lydia spoke as they walked to the doors

"Stiles says he can't find anything on the author, he thinks it's a pen name," Isabelle noted before Lydia started to read the back

"In a small New England town, teenagers are taken in the night and buried alive. "Days later they emerge transformed, wreaking havoc and spreading terror, "commanded by an ancient order of parascientists known only as "the Dread Doctors." Lydia read looking at her friends

"Sounds vaguely familiar. How does it end?" Isabelle asked in a retorted tone

"It doesn't, this is supposed to be volume one," Malia answered making Lydia scoff

"Oh, let me guess, there is no volume two?" Lydia guessed making Malia nod

"I think we're living volume two." Maila guessed to the girls

"Then maybe the real question is... Is this a novel or someone's prediction?" Isabelle asked before going to meet Scott and Kira

Isabelle was with Scott and Kira in the locker room explaining it to Theo, he held a copy of the book as she looked down at her copy. This book was supposed to help them remember but Isabelle couldn't help to question it.

"Sorry, but I'd never even heard of the Kanima until a few days ago. Do you want me to read this?" Theo asked looking at them

"Well, not yet. I'm still only on chapter one." Scott added while looking at Isabelle and Kira

"You guys do this a lot, huh?" Theo asked making Isabelle tilt her head

"Do what?" Isabelle questioned the boy

"Get involved," Theo answered making Scott nod at him

"Yeah, I guess," Scott added before Theo went back to the previous topic
