chapter 2

          mariah's pov

i wake up, i go and brush my teeth and everything until i hear a call.

hello?, i hear from the other line the voice sounds familiar.

"hey who's this?" i ask

"it's me chris smith."

"oh hey, how are you?"

i'm doing pretty good," he says

he then asks me, "i wanted to ask you if one of these days would u wanna hang out?"

"yeah i'm down." i agree.

"tommorow?" he asks.

"ummm yeah tommorow should work."

"alright i'll see you then, bye."

"bye"

fast forward to the next day.

                        mariah's pov

10:48 am

i wake up, i begin to brush my teeth and then get in the shower.

after i get out of the shower, i decide to call chris s

"hey chris, what time do you want to hang out at?"

"umm like around 2:30 maybe i can come over to ur house?"

"yeah that'll be cool."

"okay bye mariah i'll see u then"

"bye"

time skip

1:46 pm

i begin getting ready, after i finished that. I go and decide to wait for him as i'm doing that, i decide to go watch tv for a little bit.

i check my watch and see it's around 2:17.

i decide to watch tv for a few more minutes.

a few minutes later, i hear knocking on the front door. I get up and answer it. i open the door and see chris s.

hey i say to him. he says hey back and gives me a hug. i smile. we go inside and watch tv for a bit together, he then asks me if we could play video games, i agree.

we start playing after a while we get tired of it. i ask him if he wanted to go skating, he then agrees. i go ask my mom if she can take us, she agrees.

we get to the rink and see it's not too crowded. chris s and i go and rent skates. after that me and him start to skate together. i smile at him, he smiles back.

after we finished skating, my mom comes and picks us up. she agrees to drop chris off. as we make it to his house, we both say bye and he gives me a hug. after he leaves i start smiling to myself. my mom then starts teasing me about how he may like me. i laugh.

as we make it back home. i go upstairs to my room and fall asleep.

today was a good day.
