THE INVENTORY INVESTIGATION

The detective partners did not head to the station today they went straight to their crimes scene. When they got there Heather was getting her granddaughter ready for school he

" Good day ma'am" Larry said

" Good day officers how may I help you" Heather responded

"We are here concerning the homocide which occurred yesterday" Bailey said

" I thought I was supposed to come to your station well never mind". " so what do you want" she asked rudely

Larry and Bailey were dumbfounded because Heather didn't seem concerned at all.

" we just want to ask someone questions "

" Okk go on"

"Please when last did you see your son's girlfriend??" Larry asked

"About last week"

" And was everything normal"

"It seemed like they had a fight and his girlfriend Alysia walked out into a white BMW car whose driver seemed to be a Mexican" Heather explained

" ok thanks and please which prison is your son in"

"Costa Rica state prison"

"Thanks ma'am we will get back to you"

By 11:30 they had gone through the procedures needed to go through in order to question a prisoner. At last they were in the questioning room . The cell officers had told them to wait a while while they bring the person.
In about five minutes the cell officers brought in a young man in his twenties . He had a quick hairstyle with unkept beard but what caught the eyes most was a scar on the back of his neck it looked liked a scratch from someone's nails . He sat down and the cell officers left them

" Hello sir can we please know your name" Bailey asked
But he didn't respond

" sir we believe the news of your girlfriend's death has already reached you already and that's what we are here to talk about can we please get your name" Larry asked politely

" Henry......... Henry Bogart"

"How long have you been in a relationship with Alysia" Larry asked

" Ten years"

" in those ten years has there been cases of physical abuse" Bailey asked

Again he gave her a stern look and didn't answer

"Sir pls answer the question" Larry pleaded

He turned his eyes to Larry

" Yh but I didn't report" Henry said

"How ?" Larry exclaimed in confusion

" Because she always abused me" Henry said with a pity face

That's why he didn't want to talk to Bailey, he wanted to talk to a man who would understand him

" why didn't you report her"

"I didn't want to get her into trouble and when I promised to be a good boy she would give me favors" Henry responded

"Favors?" Bailey asked

" You know like sex"

"Really" Larry said shockingly

"Yh apart from that I have to pay to get it"

"Pay"

" yh with money"

So in other words Henry was trying to tell the detectives that Alysia was an abuser

" see this scar it's a scratch she gave me one night I got drunk" he continued as he showed them the scar on his neck
