* ੈ✩‧˚ 𝟑𝐑𝐃 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐎𝐍 𝐏𝐎𝐕 ╱ a few locks of hair fell from y/n's shoulders as the wind of the big, wooden library doors opening hit her figure. She adjusted the white bow on the back of her head and strolled over to the old bookshelves. It was completely silent. The only sounds that were heard were her footsteps and one person flipping through pages of a book. The girl grabbed every book that peaked her interest and slumped down on a round wooden table. She blew the dust off of the stack and sat down. The skirt of her flowy, white dress was neatly laying on the edges of the chair, making her look like a literal angel. Y/n grabbed the first book. Surprise, surprise, it was a love story. Her e/c eyes glided over every single word and as soon as she was finished with the first page, she got lost in the millions of letters and words, telling the story of two people that were meant to be together. Fate it said.
Y/n never believed in such things as fate and love at first sight. Yet here she was, completely blending out the world around her as she focused on the dramatic love story printed on these old pages. That was until the wooden floor next to her creacked, signaling her that someone was walking into her direction. She looked up from the page and was immediately met with breathtaking black eyes.
The girl felt herself getting pulled into an invisible spell that made her not want to look away. But she had to. As soon as the guy was standing next to her she came back to reality. "Sorry, I hope I'm not disturbing you, but you're reading the book I was looking for." He said with a polite voice. A small gasp left y/n's lips. "Oh? Uhm- you could... Join me? If you'd like." She scooted over with her chair and signaled for him to take a seat on the chair next to her.
He smiled and nodded. The girl felt her heartbeat slightly quicken at the gesture, but chose to ignore it. "I'm still at the beginning, so there's nothing you missed out on." She informed him, making the guy look into her eyes once again. There it was. That warm feeling in her chest whenever their eyes met. She, of course, didn't know. But the mysterious guy sitting next to her felt exactly the same thing.
𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃 and the two of them became more and more comfortable around each other. They sometimes shared their thoughts on actions and feelings of the characters and immediately realized that they're not even as different as they thought. "You kinda remind me of her step mother." The guy suddently said, making y/n's eyes dart form the book up to his eyes. A laugh slipped out of both of their lips, but they soon enough got cut off by a harsh "Shhh!" of the librarian.
"The mean step mother, really?" She whisper-laughed. "Yeah. You two give off the same vibes." He smirked at her. Y/n playfully rolled her eyes at him. "Mhm, sure thing library guy." The girl answered. Now it was his turn to let out a quiet laugh. "Call me Hyunjin." she smiled at him. "y/n. And now please expain what you meant with saying that I remind you of that old witch." The girl acted offended, being as dramatic as she could.
"You're quiet and always reading." "Always?" y/n asked. "Yes. Always. It wasn't the first time I've seen you here." "Ooh, now I have a stalker." She looked into his eyes, leaning on her hand. A chuckle left Hyunjin's lips once again, as he continued talking. "No... But you're always getting lost in these books. And I think you're also misunderstood. Some people might call you a nerd for always sitting at the same spot, in the same old library, reading the same old books. but all I see is..."
He stopped to look straight into y/n's e/c eyes, without breaking eye contact for one second. Y/n felt the fimillar feeling of her heart rate going up and this time even a small blush made it's way onto her cheeks. There was only a small distance between their faces and Hyunjin's beautiful eyes were now looking directly into hers. She knew something about him was really special and what he said next made the girl even more flustered. "pure beauty." Her eyes slightly widened and her cheeks got hotter with everytime these two words replayed in her mind.
The soft smile on Hyunjin's lips turned into a small chuckle once again. "But if you want to go with old witch, that's also fine with me." Now an audible gasp left y/n's rosy lips. Both of them errupted into a fist of laughter, not caring about the annoyed looks of the librarian. "Shut up library guy!"
