A place to plead on

Billy woke up early to hear knocking on his front porch. Billy thought it would be the mailman, so he darted back to sleep.

Knock knock on the door again. Billy begins to hop out of his bed, slightly irritated while half asleep. Slides on his shell and wraps himself in a dull, colorless cloak and peaks his eye through the window.

  "Mott?"

Billy questioned with total confusion. He remembers meeting him down in the back alley downtown, but he didn't expect to see his appearance awaiting him in the setted morning. Mott had a pleady look on his face and seem trusty enough, so Billy opens the door and welcomed him.

"Thank you, it means a lot." Mott felt as if he was at home. "So what brought you to my place?" Billy wonders as Mott was gazing around the small living space. "Magnificent place you have here, uh... Billy" "Koopa" Billy helps Mott with his nervous lead of speech.

"Could I... Maybe stay here, with you?" Mott asked, shaking his legs with a blush you can't ignore. "I don't have a place to stay... I've been kicked out of my previous stay." "Well, what begs you coming to my crib?" Billy asks with a light snicker, pushing causes of understanding. "You were friendly to me," Mott replied with a smile, "and you felt like a true friend. I don't... really have anyone I'm close to down in these parts. But you... you were someone special."

Billy feels a tingle through his shell, but not in a usual way. In a way, rather, that signals a sign of loyalty. Then it came to him, he just made an impact on someone with nothing, mentally. Meaning Billy, made a new friend.

"Sure, you can stay with me." Billy returns a bright smile back to Mott. Mott looked down, holding his arm. Then Mott walked back over to Billy and gave him another hug. "Thanks again, Billy." Mott whispered into Billy's ear. "You're welcome Mott, very welcome." Billy whispered back and drew Mott closer for a warm hug, highlighting a new beginning.
