-Our hero goes back inside the mansion, trying to look for Kris after their outburst.-

-After walking around for a while, our hero finds Kris in their room, accompanied by Noelle.-

Cuphead: "There ya are! Man, ya scared u-"

-Noelle puts a finger to her lips, indicating for Cuphead to stop talking. She continues to attempt to comfort Kris, who's curled up in a blanket.-

Noelle: * Hey, it's going to be okay......do you want anything? Water? Food?

-Kris nods and croaks out a few words.-

Kris: * Yeah. Water.

Noelle: * Alright! I'll be right back.

-She leaves the room, shutting the door quietly. Cuphead follows her to the kitchen.-

Cuphead: "..What d'ya think's goin' on with 'em..?"

Noelle: * I...I really don't know, Cuphead.

Noelle: * They- They've been acting like this ever since...

Noelle: * Oh, I can't remember.

Noelle: * ....I just...

Noelle: * Kris is my best friend, and I hate seeing them like this.

-She grips the cup she was filling with ice water a bit tighter.-

-Our hero is making his way back to his room. God he's starving...-

-Gold goes up to him from behind, and puts a hand on his shoulder.-

Gold: "Yo! Cuphead!"

Cuphead: "Oh? Ey, nice ta see ya, Gold!"

Gold: "I'm taking Chihiro and Pico pokemon hunting with me, wanna join?"

Cuphead: "Uhh....sure??"

Gold: "SWEET! Let's go!"

-He drags our hero to the others.-

Gold: "ALRIGHT! So, let's start on the first level of the school, then we'll look on the second!"

Pico: "This is stupid.."

Chihiro: "Oh, come on, Pico! It'll be fun!"
