Love is in The Dating App

Chapter 5

I woke up and Jake was gone but Ethan wasn't and he looked like he just took a shower. Thank gosh I did not want to have to deal with the stickiness. I grabbed a bagel from the fridge and put it in the toaster oven. I sat at the counter waiting for it when I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I looked to see I got a notification from the dating app.

Apparently I have a perfect match. I decided while I was waiting I would text them to start to get to know them. I was so distracted messaging them that I didn't even notice that Ethan disappeared. I head the Toaster go off so I grabbed my bagel and put cream cheese on it and sat down to eat it as Jake walked into the apartment.

"Why weren't you back sooner with Ethan I though you to took the same route when you go for a run?" "Ethan was already gone when I got up so that is why he was back sooner and I take the same path everyday so calm down would you?" "Fine" I said with a sigh as he walked passed me to go to his room and take a shower.

We all rode in Ethan's car to school as it was his turn to drive.

When we arrived there was a group of boys waiting for Ethan as he got out of the car they all started to walk toward him. I decided that I would head to class without him and text my match some more to plan a date so I could meet him.

He answered almost immediately saying he would love to meet up and asked if tonight worked obviously I told him yes. The rest of the day went by so quickly but oh well I get to meet my match in an hour. I was almost ready to go I just had to finish my hair. I was about to leave when Jake asked where I was going dressed so nice. I lied telling him I made a new friend and we were hanging out. He didn't seem to believe me but he let me leave anyway.

When I got there I told the person that I was meeting someone and our reservation was under Mystery. Because to each other we were a mystery but she didn't have to know that. She led me to a table that Ethan was sitting at. "This can't be right are you sure you didn't bring me to the wrong table?"I questioned trying to sound calm. "What is wrong Ally were you not expecting someone you knew?" He said with a smirk. You know what I will do this only because I can't go home now or Jake would be really suspicious even though I didn't tell him when I would be back.

"Whatever lets just get this over with."

Surprisingly the date went well and I do have a crush on him but Jake would not approve of me dating his best friend. He offered to drive me home but that would also be suspisous and  I did not want to have my brother on my tail about something I don't know will work out.

I beat Ethan home but he probably did that on purpose. I was in my room about to get in bed when I heard Ethan and Jake talking about the date I just went on with Ethan. He didn't say my name though he probably didn't want to be the one to tell Jake that we were possibly dating.

The next morning I woke up before both the boys on purpose because I wanted to wake Ethan up so we could go on a walk so that we could talk about the date without Jake over hearing anything. "Ethan wake up lets go for a walk." "Five more minutes." "No now so we can talk about last night."

He instantly shot up forced me out of his room and said he would be out in a minute. "So what did you want to talk about recalling our date last night?" "I wanted to say that since you are a perfect match I will give us a try and if we end up together we break it to Jake together but until then he doesn't hear a word about it or at least not my name because I know you were talking about it with Jake last night." "Ok I won't  so when is our next date?" He said with a huge grin on his face.

I couldn't help but chucle at his expression. "This weekend and we can drive together but you have to create an exuse so that he doesn't get suspisous when you don't come back until we both arrive just like I am making an exuse." "Ok but when do we get to the part when I can kiss you" he said with a frown on his face. "We'll see if we evenmake it that far.
