All these dreams... Ideas and realities and fiction all roaring through my head. Like life is flowing through my head like a roaring raging river, never to be stopped, never to be tamed, never to be slown down. I can see my entire life in front of me, reality possibility and desire... Opportunity in its rawest form. I can see living a life with her, having children and a good life. I can see living a life of my own volition, becoming the mastermind that can take anything in the world and mysteriously make it my own whether its by conning my way into it, or thieving. I can see a life where I lie and force my way to the very top, making the world my sandbox, where I'm the boss. The possibilities are endless.
"Why are you showing me this?" I ask, unmistakably recognizing the presence I feel.
"To show you what you're life can be. To show you what you will turn into if you don't control yourself."

As i watch all these images, one image comes forward that stands out in front of the others. I see a freshly bleeding corpse. The body starts to shake and threash violently, the nerves in the body are dying and the muscles are frantically contracting in a dying effort to recieve some form of oxygen from the blood, which is no longer pumping along. As i look closer, i see there are ghastly open wounds in the chest. Peering inside, i can see the remains of broken ribs and an empty pit where the heart was severed from the chest. It was easy to tell that the victim was alive during this, slash marks in the wound indicate that a dull knife was used for the assault and murder. I here a noise and look up only to me.... walking away with a bloody paper sack.

"Is this what i turn into?! A psychopath and a murderer?"

"No" the voice replied. "In this reality, you are completely dead inside. A sociopath with nothing but a paycheck to look forward to. Much like a sadistic hitman."

"No... i can't turn out like this! I mean... what happened to my family?"

"You killed them all. Every last one."

Tears well up in my eyes at the thought... "What about The Girl? What happened to her?"

"In this reality, you never meet her."

"So is she still alive?" i lighten up slightly thinking there's still hope.

"No. You were never there to save her from her depression. She sat there evryday waiting for you, but you never came. Because you were never there to care for her, her depression never went away. It kept building and building until she couldn't live with it anymore."

The scene changes. It's a dark and windy night. The stars are out and its quiet. The moon breaks from behind the clouds and i see a house in the woods. On the peak of the roof looking down, i saw her. In the light i could clearly make out the contours of her face. She was beauiful! Her expression showed extreme pain... Make up ran down her face, i could audibly here her crying. My heart plunged into my stomach. Fear washes over me in a storm as i see her walk closer to the edge.

"Please! Don't do this!" I yell out loud.

"She can't hear you. You are but a ghost watching a timeline. You don't exist here."

"SHUT UP!!" i scream! "HELP ME SAVE HER"

"It's too late." he replies.

I turn and look. She steps off the roof. The wind blows her hair as she falls... My heart drops... I try to run an catch her but i'm too late. Her body crashes down on the rocks right in front of me, her neck broken on impact. I drop to my knees... Hot tears quickly roll down my face. My voice is gone from my throat. I lean down over her as i begin to tremble. I lean down and whisper in her ear in a shaky voice.
"I-i... I'm sorry... I'm so so sorry..." I begin to weep silently.
A soft warm hand rests on my shoulder, i hear a voice. "I forgive you."

Starteled, i turn around and see her standing before me alive. She's dressed in a white flowing dress. Light dances across her skin, her hair perfectly brushed and styled. She's... gorgeous! I look at her in utter shock.
She smiles and wraps her arms around me. I hug her back and rest my head on her shoulder. Her head shifts slightly and whispers in my ear.
"I forgive you."

"I'm so... so... sorry..." i reply.

"Don't beat yourself up. I love you." This only made me cry harded. Seeing this, she squuezed me tighter and said
"I want you to do one thing for me, you listening?"

"mmhmm" i reply between sobs. She pulls back and stares me straight in the eyes atwhich point, i can see tears streaming down her face to, but she's smiling.

"First of all" She says with a loving smile, " i need you to stop crying."
I lighten up and smile a bit too. The tears stop but i'm still sniffeling.
"Ok. Done." I break into a big smile and laugh slightly.

"Second of all, i need you to remember what you saw here, please don't let this happen. you can change this."
I pull her back into a hug and squeeze her tight.
"I promise, i'll never let this happen to you!!"

"Thank you." she turns and kisses me on the cheek.
The wind picks up and she feels lighter then air all of a sudden. I keep the hug tight, refusing to let her go.
"Never forget..." she whispers in my ear. And then, she dissapears. The wind stops and i feel her prescence has left. I fall to my knees and bury my face in my hands.

"I showed you this so you might change your path." I pull myslef back to my feet.

"I'm ready to go back."

"Oh? And what are you going to do exactly?"

"I'm going to save her... from myself."
