IN THE BEGINNING.

               Dedicated to the city that never sleeps.

"Crash!" That was the last thing he had heard before his entire world came crumpling down in a flash.

His head was persistently throbbing while everything seemed to be revolving right before his eyes.

Blood... and more blood flowed in streams of dark red onto the asphalt tiled road. All it had taken was that one clash to take away his most precious possession, his mother.

Tears threatened to fall in an unending river as his tongue sought the ability to pronounce words again.
"Is this what grief feels like?" He thought in his head as the first tidal wave of sorrow reached for his heart with an iron grip. Soon sobs were slipping through his lips but all it took was the loud slam of a car door to shut him up at once.

A man in a heavy Raven black coat stepped out of a car whose glossy surface bounced the beam of the moon's light off  easily, the car looked like it had cost a fortune. The man with the mesomorphic build threaded with elegance, a black Panama hat resting on his head and painting him a light of mystery and anonymity.

The man pointed a Torchlight towards the wrecked limousine, flooding their bodies in a white light that spilled out from the piece of technology in his hands. The light roved around the area for about 20 minutes before the man turned off his light and picked up a phone from inside his coat, he dialled a number and spoke up as soon as the other line picked up

"It's done, they are all dead" The unknown man's bass voice spoke, resonating deep into the night. After he said that, he returned to the car and drove off

'Are you alright?" A voice that he was well acquainted with spoke from some feet apart

"Respond you fool" his older brother shouted, his voice quivering and threatening to shatter as he managed to speak

His brain was dead, how was he to respond when he was staring at his dead mother's Azure eyes...those eyes that always illuminated warmth and life were staring blankly at him. The reality that his mother was gone forever buried into his senses and his tears began to fall rapidly

"I...I... would avenge your death, I swear I would kill them all even if it's the last thing I do" he swore as soon as he finally found his voice, the tears slowly became a full fledge wail...
