You walked past the entrance to the next passenger car, rows of empty seats stretched before you. It was quiet compared to where you last were. "If you move, I'll kill you!" You spat. Your words didn't seem to faze the demon at all and if anything he found it laughable.

He put a curious finger to his lips. "With what, darling?"

Your heart skipped. "Darling-?"

Then you looked to the sword in your hands. Atleast, there was a sword in your hands. You were so angry you didn't realize you were gripping tight on nothing.

"What's happening?" Your voice wobbled. "What did you do?"

He pouted. "I didn't do a thing. You let your guard down."

The sword was in his hands.

"Give me it back."

He tilted his head. "Why so? You haven't given me what I want. That's a bit rude of you..."

"What could you possibly want, demon? My flesh?"

He sighed and dragged a claw down the metal of your sword. He seemed a little offended by your question.

"Your mind wanders to such negative things. I was going to ask you to trust me!"

You were frozen. You managed to say the first word that came to your mind.

"What?"

He giggled at your cluelessness and patted the empty seat next to him. Your gut tightened. If he was being completely serious, what did that even mean?

"Come sit."

Your legs were once stiff but you found them to be moving on their own. You were afraid to even open your mouth in fear of your words coming out in stammers, so you silently sat down and hoped you wouldn't be ripped to shreds. At the very least, you could see him more clearly now and wow was he prettier up close. His face looked soft and cute. You never thought a demon would be making you so nervous in such a weird way... It wasn't like moments before, but now you were drawn to the very thing you were against. Proof of that was your chest warming when he leaned into you, his blue eyes wide and curious.

"What's your name, human?" He asks casually. Seeing his fangs so close to you made you flinch back.

Regardless, you told him your name.
