"Finally...I can finally eat!" I exclaimed in excitement. I can feel my manager looking at me with confusion, but who cares? If he doesn't want some, then more for me!
"Ever, slow down. If you choke, Im not saving you." Ven muttered. I rolled my eyes at him. "Manager Ven. If you plan to starve this poor actor to death, I'll make sure to hunt you for life."
"Oh really? How can someone become a ghost when they are afraid of one?" He called out. Foul. He brought up my fears in this. "Not fair, Manager Ven. You can't include my fears in our conversations." I said to him. He chuckled and continued drinking his juice.

It didn't take me 3 minutes to finish all of the food we bought. I was a heavy eater, yet my weight always stayed the same. Lucky me huh?
"I'll get going now. And for the love of god Ever, please remember that we have a shoot scheduled later. Don't be late." Ven says as he takes his leave. He didn't need to remind the shoot. I already set my alarm for it, but hey. It's Ven. He never forgets to remind me of everything.

I walked by the convince store, just to buy some groceries that will feed me for the next 2 days. I might not come home for the next few days and maybe just stay at Ven's. I'm sure he won't like it, but he won't refuse me. He likes me to that extent.
I wandered around while holding the basket, wondering what coke to buy. There are a lot of choices. And I want something refreshing. I looked left and right, and that is when I saw her.
Black midnight hair, cut into a pixie cut and bangs that looks so..bouncy? And her eyes looked like blue gems that shine whenever light hits them. She was wearing a scarf that covered her neck to her chin. I can barely see her red glossy lips. She looked chilly despite wearing warm clothes. Her face is flushed from the cold atmosphere.

Her eyes squinted in frustration as she tried to grab the beer from the top shelf. She was tall, but not enough to reach the top. I suppressed a chuckle. Should I help her? Will she get mad? She might kick me in the balls, but I guess I can risk that just to give some help.
I scooted closer to her, my breathing turned controlled and steady. I grabbed the beer she was reaching for without looking at her. I'm getting embarrassed. And I'm getting embarrassed for getting embarrassed from this situation. I'm gonna lose it.
"Here," I say as I handed her the beer, still not making any eye contact with her.

I expected a kind thank you, but I.. shouldn't have.
"I was doing fine," she says as she grabbed the beer quickly from my hands. What the hell? Her tone was annoyed. I should have just let her be. But hey, at least my balls were safe.
I sighed and turned around. I didn't expect her to say any-
"Thanks," she mumbled. I turned around to face her again. A thank you? But she sounded annoyed earlier...?
"Here," she says as she handed me a blue card. The card had something written on it. 'Ice Rink: Crowned 2.'

"oh..do you work at an Ice rink?" I asked, my tone confused.
Silence came..and a minute passed without any talking and just us looking at each other. Then a soft chuckle escaped her lips. "Yes. I guess you could see that. Visit us when you have the time. Bye, and thanks again." she says and turned around. She quietly left just like that.
Does she like me? No! Get a hold of yourself, Ever! I'm getting too far ahead. I groaned and continued shopping. What the hell did I just witness? A laugh from a beautiful lady? And I was invited to go to her job!  Is this finally the start of my dating life?
I can't let this opportunity slide. I should go to this place. Who knows? This might be fun. I looked at the card. Huh? It had a time and date written on it. It's today.
'3:00 pm - 8:00 pm' was written on the card. I guess I'm skipping my shoot later. I chuckled out loud without even meaning to.
Shit. I'm sorry Ven.
