🌸 Prologue Pt. 1 🌸

It all started on a lovely night in the Yakushima forest. Under the gentle shine of the moon two individuals can be seen having a great time chatting with one another. As if nothing else matters to them. All was going great until a familiar crow appeared, it was your kasugai crow Urara.

As she arrived, she quickly informed you about the mission given to you by Oyakata-sama, " Caw! Caw! Kanjori-san!! Go to the northwest village to investigate!!! Many have reported demon sightings around the area!!! "

You can't help but sigh with slight disappointment with the sudden interruption of your crow. As you find yourself enjoying the company of Obanai. " Awww, but...but... we were having a nice conversation here " you said while unknowingly pouting. Obanai quietly chuckled at your behavior before saying, " Well, we could always continue later on after you finish your mission ". You then looked at him and said, " If you say so Obanai-san, I'll see you later then ".

Before you ran to go to your mission, you gave Obanai a quick but tight hug ( which caught him off guard ). You then bid him farewell and wave goodbye before running off to your mission.

Obanai was left standing with a surprise look on his very red face. Seemingly in a trance like state as he watched you get further and further away. Once he regained his composure, he quietly said under his breath, " I hope you come back safely Kanjori-san ". While looking up to his crow who is currently informing him details about a mission he is assigned to do.
