I can't sleep. He's usually beside me. Now he's gone. I've never lost hope, but it is quite possible he's dead. I'm having a hard time believing he's dead, but I've looked everywhere. I play on my guzheng. It's so quiet without him. It's too quiet. I've always heard his voice. Granted it was a bit of a nuisance at first, but I've learned to appreciate him. I should've apricated him more. I rub my dace and let out a sigh.

Then I hear a knock on the door. Who'd be knocking at this hour? Yanli? Jiang Wanyi? Brother? I stand up. I walk to the door. I open the door. No body. I look down and I see a sword drenched in blood. My eyes widen. Not just any sword, his sword! I grab it. His sword is here. I look at the end and I see it shattered. What happened? Did Hundun destroy it? I look back down, and I see a note. I read it:

"魏颖还活着."

(Wei Ying is alive.)

My eyes widen. At last proof that he's alive! Though I'm not entirely sure who sent this. His Death? Hundun? Whoever did send me his sword and note, I'm actually really glad. I bring the sword in, and I put it into a tub of water. The blood is soaked in deep. This gives me hope even though it's shattered. He's most likely in need of my help. I have to help him, who knows what kind of trouble he's gotten himself into again.
