"Ah, I can't wait today to be over" I say to Jungkook who currently looked lost looking outside the window
He seemed to be in deep thought so I decided to not interrupt him and went back to looking around the class

It was weird how this would be the last year here and the suddenly we'd all drift away to different places

I didn't have a lot to miss

"OMG GUYS WE SHOULD TOTALLY CHECK OUT THE NEW RESTAURANT THAT JUST OPENED NEARBY AFTER SCHOOL TODAY" Sajd Aecha interrupting my thoughts

I try reaching out to Jungkook but I can't
It's almost as if all of a Sudden he has disappeared
I try calling him and texting him
I even go upto his house but he isn't there and apparently his parents have are on a business trip and their date of arrival isn't certain
I hurry up to school hoping I'd see him there
As soon as I arrive to my class
I see Ae-cha on a call with someone
"Hi" she mouths her words to me
I say hello back and sit on my seat
" who were you on call with?"
"Oh, one of my friends from the other school, she lives really far from here, we were deciding what colleges we should apply to"
"Oh, well, have you heard from Jungkook today at all?"
"No? Why?is he okay?"
"I don't know, I've tried texting him , calling him, I even tried visiting his house but he wasn't there."

A while passes by and I see her in an empty corridor
I approach her
"Are you okay?" I ask her
And suddenly she melts down and starts crying with tears running down her cheeks as if she's been wanting to lay off burden from her shoulders and it feels like I should be the one she should lay it on because after all, shes one of the dearest friends I've had
"What's wrong?" I ask her
I stare at her reassuring her that she can tell me whatever she wants
"It's Jungkook"
She said looking up at me
And the look on her face was enough to clarify her words
i don't know what it was
But
At that moment
My heart felt heavy
As if stones were flowing through it's arteries and veins instead of blood
But I couldn't get my feelings in the way of all of this
Between the two of us
She chose
Him
It was him
It was always him
How could I be so blind
