Riley pov
I kissed Lucas one last time and come out of the door. I walk to my house and climb the fire escape. I open the window and climbed in. But what I didn't know was that Maya was sitting there.
"Where were you?" She asked
"At Lucas's house" I say softly and trying to figure out if she was mad.
She nodded slowly. "Why?"
"Cause I had to say thank you."
She smirked and said "saying thank you doesn't take that long, tell me what happened".
"Promise you won't get mad or do anything?" "Promise" "ok so I said sorry and he said you don't have to say sorry because I like you. So he said I changed him and we kissed"
Maya made a "o" with her mouth. "You know he is bad news" "yeah but when we kissed it felt like we were meant to be. And that's the first time ever that happened" "ok riles but be careful and if he breaks your heart remember I will break him and say to you I told you so" I smiled "I know you will be there for me" she smiled and rested her head on me shoulder. "I will always be there"
