We promised Mom and Dad that we would stick together after they were gone. I'm not sure if we can keep that promise.
Emilly said she would protect me, and she tells me that every day, ever since we've arrived at the orphanage. Now that she's eighteen, and I am fifteen, Ms. Annilie says we should either move elsewhere, or get transferred to another orphanage, since we're old enough. The current one were staying at is quickly filling up with younger children. It's not just us that is getting transferred, its almost all the older kids. Ms. Annilie says I can't go with the other older kids, because I'm not sixteen yet. Emilly refused to go unless I came with her, so I was allowed to get transferred too. The thing is, this orphanage that we're getting transferred to, I've heard rumors around the media of it being inhumanly run, and that it fails to pass inspections by state officials, but Emilly says there is nothing to worry about, and that recently it was investigated to show that it does in fact pass. But still, I wonder...
