,,And you think that makes something better?" Zade stroked his face annoyed. These disputes were already there a year ago and he had believed that now that they had no contact for a year, that would have settled. But Zade was wrong.

,,That is the problem Nova!" The brunette stopped and raised her eyebrows as she crossed her arms in front of her chest like a little stubborn child, looking at her husband. ,,You’re always looking for every fucking problem! You’re looking for her like a fucking drama queen!"
,,I’m not a drama queen! It just hurts me that my own daughter thinks I would want to kill her if I just look at her! You may have forgiven me, but she didn’t. She sees me as the monster that attacked her father, not her mother. She’s scared of me, Zade! That’s my fucking problem!" Nova yelled at him. From word to word she grew louder until she finally fell silent and looked at him with tears in her eyes. He could understand it, he could really.

In order not to get loud again to Nova, he breathed deeply in and out.  ,,Nova, she’s not afraid of you. Something happened, something with Adelio. That changed her and since then she doesn’t want to be with anyone but me. This has nothing to do with you. She needs her time to realize everything and deal with it. She is 5 years old!" Nova clenched her hands into a fist. For a moment she tensed, until her eyes suddenly softened and seriously worried about Adelio but also wanted to know what happened to him. Zade knew he had to tell her, so she could finally understand Indira.

,,Will you tell me, Zade?" Zade nodded. He had to tell her sooner or later. ,,I will tell you. But later." Nova brushed her hair back. A sigh escaped her lips, rather she nodded approvingly.

,,I’ll tell you tonight when Indira is asleep. I’ll help Dale fix the RV later, I’ll have to fit in." Nova wanted to say something and explain that he doesn’t need to do that when he put his finger on her lips and looked down at her dominant. He knew her too well and knew exactly what she wanted to say. ,,I have to, Nova. I’m no Dixon and I want to fit in and help and you should do that too. You’ll do it sooner or later." Nova took his finger off her lips and shook his head. ,,Definitely not." Sais Shane. ,,Only Indira, Daryl, Merle and you are important to me. People here don’t give a shit about me." Zade smiled and raised her chin with thumb and forefinger. He looked into her eyes. ,,Keep telling yourself that, little wolf." Nova sighed and rolled her eyes.

She pushed him to the side and wanted to go past him, but Zade grabbed her hand and kept her from going. Nova stopped there and looked at the wall of the tent. ,,I know you regret what happened." Nova bit her lips and tensed enormously. She hated this subject. ,,And I know how you feel." he said. ,,You and I have been loving each other since we were kids. We did it all together, I married you, and I still love you as much as I did then." Her heart started to beat faster and her pulse increased as she felt it getting too much. She knew what he was going to say.

,,I made a mistake, just like you, but we’ve always done this together, and we do now if you want to."
,,Zade..We haven’t talked about staying together yet.." she muttered and began to tremble. Zade knew she was about to run away and he was right. Just as he was about to speak, she ran out of the tent and left Zade standing there.

She watched as Dale stood on the RV, watching the radio, as Amy walked past her, giving her a shy smile and pointing in one direction. Nova raised her head and followed her interpretation. Indira sat on the ground and drew with a stick on the earth. The Dixon swallowed and knew exactly that she should give Indira time, but when she looked up and her mother smiled Nova went to her and sat down next to her on the floor.

The girl continued drawing while Nova watched what she was drawing. It was a circle that she drew and then pointed to the sun in the sky. ,,I like the sun." She smiled as Nova’s heart warmed. She liked it better when it’s dark, but she still joined in. ,,The sun is very beautiful, isn’t it?" Indira immediately nodded and put the stick next to her. She suddenly lowered her head. ,,Dad and you love each other again?" Nova’s heart started beating faster. Her otherwise hard facial features suddenly become very soft.

,,Sweetheart.." She muttered and turned her torso completely to Indira, who did exactly the same and her mother now looked in the face. ,,Your daddy and I will always love each other." She smiled and noticed the tears in her daughter’s eyes, which stabbed her heart. ,,Then why did you hurt Dad?" Nova bit her lips. She just wanted to leave, but she couldn’t do that to Indira.

,,I..It’s hard to understand, Indira. I was angry and it was wrong of me." She admitted, and tears also formed in her eyes. ,,But you didn’t look like you, Mom.." Nova nodded and felt a tear run down her cheek. It hurt her incredibly how her daughter looked at her and she had no idea how the hell she should explain to Indira Why she did it. She wouldn’t understand it.

,,I love you and your father, Indira. This will never change, I promise you." Indira nodded and suddenly threw herself into her mother’s arms, crying. Nova immediately put her arms around her, stroked her blonde locks and gently pressed her towards her as she kissed her head and felt her shirt soaked in her daughter’s tears. She didn’t care who could see it, if anyone could see it. All that mattered to her right now was Indira.

,,Dale, I'm heading out. " Interrupted Lori’s voice this moment between mother and daughter.  Indira immediately broke away from Nova and looked at her with big tearful eyes.  ,,Sweetheart, i want you to stay where Dale can see you, Ok?"
From Carl came a ,,Yes, Mom", rather Lori turned back to Dale. Nova saw her daughter take a few steps back, but Nova shook her head slightly. She didn’t want Indira to leave.

,,You too. Don’t wander too far. Stay within shouting distance. And if you see anything, holler. I'll come running." Lori said a ,,Yes, Mom", and then left while Indira ran towards the tent. ,,Indira!" Nova also got up and wanted to follow her daughter, but Zade, who came out of the tent into which Indira disappeared, grabbed Nova’s shoulders and shook his head.

,,Zade, let me see her!" She tried to push him to the side, but Zade’s grip tightened. ,,Nova, give her time, damn, she just got back to you with the first real sentences."
,,She’s my daughter, Zade! I want to see her!" Zade sighed. He grabbed her arm and pulled her a little further away from the tent, where he took her face into his hands and forced her to look at him.

,,Listen to me!"
,,Let me see her, Zade!"
,,Listen to me, I told you!" His grip tightened as he looked deep into her eyes. He knew he was just a little rough and he knew it hurt her. For this reason, he immediately loosened his grip and clenched his free hand to his fist. He had not had his strength under control again.
,,Nova.." he felt the tears running down her cheek, he saw her and immediately felt bad.

,,She just talked to you. She’s like you when she gets too much. She runs away and you should know that she needs her time." Nova shook his head.  Her hair was ruffled as she looked at him with tears in her eyes. ,,It’s because she’s like me that scares me, Zade." She took a break. ,,If I let her have this time, will it always be like this, you know? Then she runs away just like I do, instead of facing it. We can’t let that happen." Zade nodded. He knew it. But he knew what to do with her.

,,But there’s no point in talking to her and maybe even bothering her, Nova. "
,,I just want my daughter back! The relationship we had Damn!" Zade pulled her into his arms and put his hand in her neck while she cried into his shirt and Nova wrapped his arm around her waist and put his free hand on the back of her head. He put his chin on her head and held her tight. He could understand her and he knew that she hated to freak out such emotional things, but that’s how she is and Zade would never leave her alone as long as he breathes. No matter how many times he has to tackle her so roughly to protect her from herself and from what she wants to do and no matter how often he still has to hold her in his arms crying. He’d be there for her every damn time.
