Ayanokouji POV:

"Class, we have an exam next week. Study diligently and you will all be rewarded." Chabashira said behind the podium.

"Reward?" Multiple people repeated the exact same thing in sync, their primate-like minds fiending for anything that may involve points.

"Yes a reward, and by reward I mean spending a few weeks on a yacht in the middle of the pacific." Chabashira said with the same cold indifferent expression, it seemed she had announced this multiple times in the past.

Multiple students who weren't paying attention heard this, causing them to suddenly gain interest.

Horikita was doing better than she was before, her demeanor still emphasized she was pathetic sadly. The plan of violently assaulting her brother backfired, it seems I still have no idea on how the human mind works.

Reading only books and gaining information from online wouldn't qualify me as a master in reading someone's emotions. I need first hand experience, the chemicals produced by the brain will also help.

I could identify chemicals being released, such as, Serotonin, Dopamine, Oxytocin, Monoamime Oxidase, Norepinephrine, and many more due to advanced technology implemented into me.

These still cannot be deciding factors, the human mind is still truly complicated and irrational decisions can still take place. You may think someone is fine until they suddenly show erratic behavior.

My entire purpose of attending this school is to experiment on this, I may have been ge-

Oh.. there is a bird at the window.

...

I spent the rest of the class period watching the Black Kite feast on the bird seed. This investment seemed to have bore fruit.

"Ayanokouji." Horikita surprisingly said, trying to get my attention.

"Busy."

"What can you possibly be busy with?" She said as she examined me, noticing I'm observing a bird.

"Ayanokouji." Her tone got noticeably colder, expressing her annoyance at my interest.

"Busy."

"Tch." Horikita got up and walked away, glaring at me once more before exiting the classroom.

Suddenly the bird flew away, my source of entertainment being stripped from me.

Our teacher laid out a board on the wall, displaying all our scores in the exam.

93% of the class passed, excluding Sudo who doesn't know that he didn't pass. I would pity him if I could.

"Congratulations, all of you have passed.." Chabashira said, causing an eruption of cheers throughout the classroom.

"Except one." She took out a red marker and crossed a line above Sudo's name.

"It says I passed though!" Sudo said, frantically trying to defend himself.

"We calculated the points using a different standard, it seems you didn't pass by one point." Chabashira said indifferently, looking unamused by the current predicament her student is facing.

"Wha-" Sudo managed to croak as he slammed his head on his desk, injuring himself for no apparent reason.

If he did that in the white room he would immediately be disposed of, fortunately our standards of society have a distaste in inhumane treatment.

"Wait Sensei!" Hirata said, trying desperately to save his classmate of only a little over a month.

"Hm?" Chabashira responded in a bored tone.

"Let me recheck his answers, the school must've made one mistake!" Hirata pleading, clinging to his unnatural instinct of disregarding all logic to save someone he was only acquainted with.

"Do as you wish." Chabashira handed him Sudo's paper and the answers, in which Hirata desperately tried to look for mistakes.

"No.. no.. this can't be." Hirata seemed to be having a mild panic attack, it seems he is effected greatly by these types of things.

"Well, Sudo, I expected to see you in the lobby soon." Chabashira said as she walked out, unfazed as if she was used to this.

The entire class formed a gloomy atmosphere, with a broken Sudo and a depressed Hirata. It seemed a joke was needed.

"Hey classmates, how does a non-binary kill their enemies?" I said out loud, causing multiple people to look at me.

Nobody said anything, so I decided to finish the joke I read online.

"They slash them." I said, hopefully trying to remove the awkward silence, instead nobody laughed.

"Ha.. ha... ha.." I tried to laugh, it just came out in a mechanical croak in which I stopped immediately.

Everybody looked at me, the joke seemed to have offended them in some way. It seems I have messed up once more.

"That was very insensitive Ayanokouji." Kushida said, lowering her usual unnecessary high-pitched tone to match the atmosphere.

People nodded their heads as they started to forget about my joke, resulting in me putting my head down on my desk.

Suddenly I heard a chair be pulled out to the right of me, which caused me to look and see Horikita getting up.

"Where are you going Horikita?" Hirata asked as he still was trying to get over the shock.

"Bathroom." Horikita said as she left the classroom, moving in a different direction than where the bathrooms were located.

I put my head down on the desk once more and accessed the school cameras using my head, following Horikita by switching between cameras.

She found a set of stairs and started walking to the roof where smoking was allowed, in which it seemed she was trying to locate Sensei.

She found her and they started discussing a topic, Chabashira having a disinterested face the entire time until Horikita mentioned something.

She smiled slightly and they book took out their phones, Horikita started walking back to the classroom as Chabashira stayed outside to finish her cigarette.

Horikita entered the classroom, earning many glances due to the time it took to supposedly 'use the restroom.'

"Sudo, your expulsion has been cancelled." Horikita suddenly said in a bland tone, seeming to lose all traces of her previous mourning-state.

"Huh!?" Sudo said as he got up and started cheering, in which multiple other students started cheering with him.

"Thank you so much Horikita." Sudo said as he bowed in front of the disinterested Horikita, making her walk out the classroom.

It seems my hypothesis was right, I checked Horikita's balance through my head and she lost 50,000 PP. She most likely bought the 0.5 test points for Sudo to pass, this mean you may be able to purchase many other things that usually are forbidden.
