This story began in a normally peaceful and beautiful town. The town was called Magnolia, the capital of Fiore. It was ones ruled by a generous king and his wife. Together they ruled over Magnolia treating everyone like their own family. Children always played in the park. The streets were always overflowed with citizens and visitors from other countries.

One day this all changed. All the happiness was replaced with sadness. The warmth that the city radiated was replaced with a ice cold feeling. People screamed and ran for their life's. Blood was spilled everywhere. The king and his wife had been decapitated before the eyes of their people. The city that ones was filled with happiness and fairy tales was now full of fear, madness and demons. The so called 'demons' took over the city, and the rest of the country, and made it their kingdom. The ruler of this kingdom of coldness and madness? They say he was the worst demon of all demons. They called him 'Ice'. He didn't know the word love. He didn't feel fear or compassion. He couldn't feel warmth. His real name was Gray Fullbuster.

But his real story was never told before. It wasn't because they feared being killed for it but simply because nobody ever knew the real story behind 'Ice'. If they would know they would understand him better. Gray never wanted to become what he was now. When he was younger Gray was happy. He was happy and lived every day like it was his last. He lived together with his mother and his brother. The three of them lived in a little cabin in the snow mountains. They would always play in the snow and hold campfires. One day that suddenly changed. His mother and his brother were taken away from him. In one blink of an eye his whole life was ruined. They say a demon killed them. After that Gray became cold towards the world. He didn't care about anything anymore. He trained one year long before he returned to his old home searching for the demon that took away his family. They say he found him and fought the demon by himself. He killed the demon and made sure he would look 'pretty'. He pulled all the organs of the demon out of its body and burned them. Next he pulled one of the demon eye's out and kept it as reward. That is how 'Ice' was borne.

Gray was now sitting in his new throne. He watched as his followers were killing every person they could find one by one. Even though he normally would have been enjoying the view, he was looking bored. Little raindrops made Gray snap out of his thoughts. It was raining a little what only made the town look even more miserable. The sound of little sobs filled his ears. He stood up and let his feet take him towards the sound. A girl was sitting in the end of the corridor. She was around the same age as him. Her coral blue hair was curled up on her shoulders. Her skin was pale what made her sea blue eyes stand out more. When Gray was about to touch the girls shoulder to get her attention she disappeared. Her sobs could still be heard but her body was nowhere in sight. Gray looked around him one more time to see if there was any trace of the girl but not seeing anything he made his way back to the throne room. When he opened the door to his throne room he became shocked. The same girl as earlier was sitting in the middle of the room crying her eyes out. The rain outside was getting heavier every second. The girl finally seemed to feel his presence and looked at him. Her sea blue eyes glaring at his. Gray slowly took a step forward and the girl took a step back. Again he took a step forward and the girl took a step back. This did go on until The girl stood against the wall and Gray before her. Their faces were extremely close. To Gray's surprise he didn't see fear in the girl eyes. Normally when someone would look at him they would shake in fear. This girl was different and Gray liked it.

From that day on the girl and Gray spend every second together. Gray felt something warm inside for the first time in years. That girl was changing him. Her smile was beautiful and he couldn't have enough of it. On the 10th day together the girl finally told him her name. Saying her name felt good to Gray. It was this kind of feeling that made him feel good. Something he forgot years ago. A few weeks later Gray was walking through the castle searching for the girl. He couldn't find her what made him worried. He asked some of the maids but nobody had a clue about whereabouts of the blue haired girl. While walking in the garden he finally saw the familiar colour blue hair. He walked up to her and called her name. The girl however didn't respond. He tried to wake the girl up but whit no results. When he lifted the girl up he nearly dropped her again. There was a knife stuck in her body, right through her stomach. Blood made it's way out of the wound and was falling from her body on the ground. Gray shed tears for the first time in years. He was heartbroken. He was left alone once again. His beloved had left him alone in this cruel world. He had enough of this. He had enough of losing people dear to him. He didn't want to live without her. He missed her already so much. He wanted to talk with her. See her smile again. He wanted to say so much things to her. He lay beside her and looked at her peaceful face. He stabbed himself and waited until he would be reunited with her again. Even if it was weird Gray was really happy at the moment. He was happy he could met her. He was happy she showed him to love again. Soon he would be with her again. Gray died beside his beloved with a peaceful expression his face.
