The birds have stopped their singing
Everything is turning grey

No candy in your till
No cutie left to thrill
You're alone on a Tuesday

"Make sure you get my angles right." Star bossed to her best friend's cousin, making a loud sigh leave his lips. He didn't stop taking the photos on her cracked iPhone though. "Sleeze keep the camera up! You tryna take a picture of me or my boots?!"

"My fault, Massa" He shot back while beginning to hold a mug. He had to have been standing there for twenty minutes trying to get pictures that Star would approve of. "I'm tryna take my time, y'all ugly as shit. It's hard to get good angles."

Kissing her teeth, Star stopped posing and went right over to him. "You lame as hell, on my son. It don't even matter, Rasi already took some pics earlier for me."

"You don't have a son..." Karasi, her best friend, mumbled drunkenly while folding her arms against her chest. "I hate coming over here"

"O'Block hate you too, lame ass nigga." Sleeze teased, looking down at Star once she snatched her phone from him and turned back to Karasi. "You only come over here when you tryna see bro."

Karasi waved him off dismissively, even though his accusations were true. "Fuck you and him, where he at?"

Busy swiping through the pictures, Star took a quick glance up at the mention of Rasi's mystery man. She stayed silent though, wanting to observe as much as she could before she spoke up and blew her cover.

"He somewhea' 'round. Y'know he ain't ever too far out here. Y'all coo?"

"He mad"
