Tokyo, Japan, 7:30 h., the Carneys' new home

Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.

I switch my alarm off, jump out of my bed as quickly as possible and start preparing for my first day at college.

What's left? My clothes, books, phone and video games are prepared. I don't think I forgot anything...

- Hayden! Are you ready?

- Yeah, mom - I shout back and carry my heavy suitcase downstairs with one hand. I hold a glass of water in the other one.

- There you go, honey. Is everything packed?

Yes, it is, I reply and start eating my cornflakes. Suddenly, I remember!

- Mom, my piano!

- Ah, yes, I've already thought about it, silly - smiles mom and points at the big case in the corner.

- Thanks. I'm done with my breakfast.

I push my glasses back to my nose, shake my way-long dark untidy hair and stand up.

- Need any help with the cases, hon?

- No thanks - I reply, lifting both the suitcase and piano.

After putting it all in the car trunk, I say goodbye to my mother, but I can't tell it to my step father because he's in the Soldier club for adults. Again.
