Backstory every holiday Denki and Kota would visit unless they plan something else like a sleepover or a play date or something. Kota doesn't have the best home life.

It was Christmas time well, December 10th, to be exact, and on Christmas, Denki and Kota would visit as usual. And they all decided to go out and get some Christmas decorations and to look in the shops to write anything on their Christmas lists or to get as gifts. But right now, they are getting ready at Aizawa's house.

"Everyone ready."
"Yes, Aizawa."
"Right then, everyone in the car,"

Everyone gathered in the car. Aizawa driving, Mic in the passenger side, Kota and Eri in the back, and Shinso and Denki in the back behind them.

"Kota"
"Yes, Eri."
"Do you have your Christmas list ready?"
"Umm, yeah,"
"Huh, then where is it?"
"What do you mean"

Eri shows Kota her list that is written on paper

"So, where's yours?"
"Oh, I have it in my head. I don't need to write it down,"
"If you say so,"

When they arrive at the shop. They first thought of splitting up, but Aizawa knew they would spend too much, so they didn't, and instead, they went together. First, they got their friends present and then went around looking at things to put on their Christmas lists. When looking around Aizawa and Mic noticed how Kota wouldn't say anything or write anything down unlike Eri when she saw something she liked she would yell "OMG I LOVE THIS IM GOING TO WRITE THAT DOWN" or something like that but Kota didn't in fact he looked sad.

"Hey Kota,"
"Yes, Mr Mic."
"Can I quickly talk to you?"
"Umm, sure,"

Mic and Aizawa both looked at each other and nodded. Then Eri dragged Aizawa away to show him her new favourite toy while Mic took Kota outside the shop to talk.

"You ok, kid?"
"Yes, why wouldn't I be?"
"Well, it just looked like you were a bit upset, in there, I just wanted to make sure you are alright and just know that you are safe to talk to me."
"Umm, i-i,"
"Mhm."

Kota sighs, not knowing if he can let out all his feelings just there and then. So he just hugged Mic, not knowing what to do, but Mic hugged back, smiling a little feeling happy that Kota at least did something and not just lied saying that he's fine when he's not.

"Thank you,"

Kota whispered while hugging the man he saw as a father

"You're welcome, kid,"

After a while, they let go of the hug and held hands as they returned to the group and saw that Eri had fallen asleep in Aizawa's arms, and Denki and Shinso were waiting for them.

"You guys ready to go," (Aizawa)
"Yeah" (Mic)

They then left the store with Denki and Eri asleep. When they arrived home, Shinso took Denki to their room, and Aizawa took Eri to her room while Kota and Mic sat on the couch, watching Home Alone. Soon, Aizawa came in and made them both hot chocolate and both him and Shinso some coffee. He took the coffee to Shinso and finally was able to sit down with his husband and relax.
