Watching over the clock seems to only push the time further and I am so close to walking out of the classroom. My heart races faster as the minutes move closer to the end of the day. I close my eyes and take a deep breath as the bell rings in harmony to my sigh.

I quickly run through the door and into the hallway stumbling through a crowd that I mentally prepared myself for.

"Hey", I said waving towards my friends. It became part of my schedule to meet up with them outside of the gym, since it is not too far away from the main entrance.

It was usually Rebecca, Sam, Hayley, Liam and I on the walk home. We all live relatively close to each other and the distance is very convienent from the school.

"Olivia, are you coming with us to the movies tonight?" Sam asked while everyone else looked at me for a response.

"I completely forgot about that! I'm so sorry I can't go, I'm going to be stuck home" I feel bad for not going with my friends, we've been planning this for weeks and I'm bailing on them.

"We don't have to go tonight, we can always just go tomorrow or something" Liam offered.

"No! Don't do that, its really okay, I have homework to do anyways" I responded a little too quickly to Liam's ridiculous suggestion. "Have fun though", I attempted to make a smile.

"Aw, this sucks", Hayley pouted.

"Well okay bye Olivia, I'll text you tonight?" I nodded while she continued her goodbye hugging me. I proceeded by hugging everyone else but Liam. We lived only a couple houses down from each other so we continued to walk.

"Are you sure you can't come tonight? I can always sneak you out and we'll stuff pillows under your blanket." Liam smiled at me and I couldn't tell just how much he was kidding.

"Haha no, besides, if I don't do my work tonight, it will never get done." He joined me in laughter and nodded his head.

"I know, I just really wish you could come." His smiled fadded into a frown by the end of his sentence.

"Me too", I hugged him goodbye "I'll see you tomorrow, have fun!" I smiled back at him.

"Okay, see you", he walked up his driveway and I continued a few houses down and soon did the same.

Not to my surprise, I was home alone. My dad had to work late most days and my mother was out running errands with my little brother.

I ran upstairs and changed into pink polka dotted pajama pants and a white tee shirt. I went down to the kitchen and put strawberries in a bowl and brought that up to my room.

I really didn't want to do my homework right now so I decided to push it back. I know doing this never ends well for me because somehow end up doing it in class, but I always convince myself it won't happen.

I walked into my bathroom and put my hair up to take off my makeup. After that I washed my face and put on a moisturizer for the night. I pulled out my phone and tried to amuze myself by going on every social media I have. I sighed and pulled out my homework and actually began doing it.

I jump up at the sound of my ringtone, I look at my phone to find Liam's name across the screen. I quickly answer in curiosity.

"Hey", I smile into the phone.

"Hey, are you ready? I'm outside your house and I brought extra pillows." I laugh at him and his silly plans. "Look out your window." I slowly walk toward my window and pull the curtains aside to find Liam looking up at me with two pillows in his arms.

"Liam I told you I can't go", I laugh the words out knowing he can't be serious.

"I know you can't, that's why I was just going to ask if you can open your front door so we could watch a movie." He said like it was obvious.
