- it's my first fanfiction (yay?) or any story I've ever published here

- There will be dark themes such as torture, mental health issues, trauma, injury, eating disorders, insomnia and drugs. Please be careful and gentle with yourself. If anything makes you feel uncomfortable, stop reading. You are more important than this story <3
- I am not a professional psychologist/psychiatrist etc. Feel free to point out if you disagree with my portrayal of certain behaviours, reactions etc.
- I don't mean to romanticise any of the self-destructive behaviours described (though I tend to do that or fall for others' romanticizing descriptions, so I won't make any promises here).
I do not agree with any anti-LGTBQIA+ sentiments expressed by JK Rowling, no matter how much I love her wizarding world. Anyway, all the characters you'll recognise are hers.
