"Good morning Funakoshi-san!" I heard a sweet and feminine voice pulling me out of my thoughts.
"Oh, good morning Yamada-Senpai" I responded to her "Would you like to have lunch together later?" She asked.
"Is Najimi-kun going to be there?" I questioned "Why? Do you dislike him?" She asked in concern.
"Not at all! I just wouldn't want to intrude on you two..." I responded 'I mean he clearly likes her... I wouldn't want to be a third wheel' I thought.
"Oh, don't worry I let him borrow a book I have and he's gonna be busy reading later, so that's why I'm inviting you" she says with a slight nervous chuckle at the end.
"Oh, ok then sure!" I answered in acceptance to her previous offer.
"Great! Let's meet up at the roof top 'kay? See ya!" Taeko said to me "Alright then, see you later" I responded as we each left to do our things. Though I didn't actually have anything to do so...
I just kind of walked around school without anything to do until I found Midori.
