Nobody's POV

It had been almost 2 whole months, and Y/N's feelings for Mattheo had been growing everyday she had seen him during the day but she had planned she would ask him to go hangout at Hogsmade or go to the village and have fun or try and becoming closer with Mattheo.

Y/N's POV

I saw Mattheo in the hall he looked like he just got out of quidditch practice. Might as well ask him now so i walked over to him and said "Hey Mattheo do you have any plans later?" My nerves were off the charts, my hands were literally shaking, 'why am i like this?' I thought to myself but i nervously waited for his response to my offer. Then after about a few minutes but the answer shocked me...and kinda hurt...? he said "Sorry no Y/N. i cant im going to hangout with someone else. again sorry." he said as he walked away but i felt hurt but i felt a sting feeling in my eye as my eyes watered up I ran to my dorm and for the rest of the afternoon going into the evening I didn't speak to anybody and i cried.

Timeskip about 4 and half hours later

Draco POV

I haven't seen Y/N since lunch so i was getting suspicious so i went to find her first i checked with Cedric and she wasn't with him, not with the golden trio or Mattheo, so then i went go check her dorm once i got to her dorm i knocked on the door softly and waited patiently to see if she answer the door. I heard someone moving around in the room so i knew Y/N was in the dorm and she answered the door once she opened the door i seen her red puffy eyes, so it broke me to see my best friend my childhood best friend sad then i spoke after she let me in. "Y/N, what's wrong?" i asked her as I waited for a response from her "n-nothing.." she stuttered out..which made me way more worried then i sat next to her on her bed and i hugged her tightly "Y/N please don't lie, and tell me please." I say as i was being very serious.

Nobody's POV

Y/N cried her eyes out and told Draco what had happened with Mattheo and this slightly infuriated Draco as he hated to see his best friend crying and hurt so Draco cradled Y/N to sleep and once she was asleep He tucked her in her bed then he left to go find Mattheo as Draco was pissed off.

Timeskip after Draco found Mattheo

Mattheo's POV

I heard Draco's voice yelling "Mattheo! How dare you hurt my baby?!" I turned around and looked at Draco in confusion then i spoke, "What do you mean Draco-" before i could finish what i was saying, i felt a sting on my cheek, Draco had slapped me so now i was mad but also confused "What the hell did i do?!" i yelled at Draco as I waited for his response then Draco said "Y/N was crying because of you! dumbass!" Draco yelled at me then i said still infuriated but also shocked now "what did i do to make her cry?" i asked Draco and he said "you rejected her. you don't know how much she liked you! so for now on just stay away from her." Draco said as he hissed and walked away leaving me in shock but also guilty for what i did and i hadn't noticed the signs earlier..

Timeskip a week later 

Nobody's POV

Y/N, and Draco have been avoiding Mattheo while Cedric and the golden trio were confused why Mattheo wasn't hanging out with you all anymore which this caused Y/N to be miserable  because yes she missed Mattheo hanging with them all but this felt like the right way even though she would cry herself to sleep every night meanwhile Mattheo had picked up bad habits like smoking, bullying, failing classes and getting fights with others so yes it had hurt the both of them but maybe this was for the better...
