Y/n pov

It's finally the day

The day I've been longing for is finally here

6 years of training 

Have finally paid off

Im sitting in front of my mirror combing my (h/l) (h/c) hair, i straighten my pose and sigh

This is the day

I look at myself in the mirror for one last time before standing up and making my way

"My children. I have gathered all of you for a very important reason, there is a new hashira joining us. The Tenth hashira, (y/n) (l/n)" 

That's my cue, i enter the place, with my hands behind my back and a warm smile. I bow to show my respect, Kagaya finishes his speech and i look at all the other hashira

One catches my eye

He has fire colored hair and a bright smile

i feel my cheeks flush up and i put a few fingers on my face

my cheeks were burning

i look away and try to calm down

why am i like this?

i look back up and now i have to meet all the hashira

"(y/n) was it?" i turn around and see a short girl with black hair faded to purple

"im shinobu kocho, the insect hashira" she lends her hand out and i shake it, her hand was very soft 

i smile

"I'm (y/n) (l/n) pleased to meet you" i part my hand from her's

"Also, we are going to host a party for you, since you are now a member of the hashira."

i warmly smile at her

"im honored"

"the party starts at 5:20 sharp"

i nod

"Ill be there"

she nods and waves goodbye before leaving

and god damn was she fast

i finish styling my hair and look in the mirror

i did it

im a hashira

mom, dad

are you proud of me?

i shed a tear but wipe them before it ruins my makeup

i add some touch up's to my makeup and clothes before heading out 

the party is not a long walk from my estate

the warm air hits my face as a step out

the color of the sky is breath taking

i look up at the clouds and smile

i then look at the path ahead and i start heading towards the party
