There is a lot of interpretation going along with this story. If it goes right over your head I'm sorry xD

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
At first, there was nothing but darkness. For a long time that was all there was. No light or sound or smell.
'Where am I?' I thought. I tried to speak. I tried to call out for help, but no sound came. No one came to save me.
I was scared at first, but I slowly began to get used to the darkness. My mind calmed and cleared out of simple necessity. It felt like I was there for years and yet at the same time it felt as if no time had passed at all.
I couldn't remember anything. Not a single thing filled my head but basic functions. I knew that the earth was round and that 2+2=4 and things like that, but anything to do with other people or life at all.... there was just nothing. The first question that had formed in my head began to change. I didn't care so much about where I WAS as much as...
'WHO am I?'
After an hour, or maybe it was seconds, something started to happen. Slowly I began to feel. Cool air shifted around me. It happened as slowly as the sun rising from the depths of the ocean, and it was just as beautiful.
Soon I began to hear things. Bells. A million wind chimes were ringing softly in my ears. The noise grew and grew until my ears began to hurt. When I didn't think I could stand the noise for another moment the bells began to fade away. I could still hear the chimes, but the sound was quieter. They were replaced with the soft sound of rustling from the gentle breeze.
Finally I began to regain my sight. The darkness slowly began to lift and I began to see dark shapes. The shapes gradually came into focus until I could see them for what they were. The shapes were great trees as wide as couches and as tall as mountains. They formed a forest that surrounded me. The closest branch was 50 feet above me. The leaves of the trees were so big and thick they could be used as umbrellas.
The trees suddenly and without warning began to shrink. It seemed to happen at light speed compared to the slowness of everything else that had happened. They made no sound as they shrunk down to the size of normal trees.
'Perhaps the trees are not shrinking, and I am simply growing?' I thought to myself. The thought didn't seem as odd in the moment as I realize it does now...
I lay there on the ground for a long time and stared at the now proportional trees. I tried to sort out my mind to understand what was happening better but for some reason it was foggy as if I was under some kind of drug influence.
A single thought floated among all of my minds chaos.
'Think clearly. Speak.'
I took the thought into action. If I had regained my senses then maybe I could speak again. It took me a moment to remember the right functions to speak. I moved my mouth for a moment and then let out a soft moan. Then I spoke.
"Clarity..." I whispered. Instantly, like the snap of a finger, my mind cleared.
I pushed myself into a sitting position with my arms. They felt wet for some reason... I looked down and realized that the ground was muddy and covered with dead leaves and strange plants. My arms were covered in the thick mud. I took a good look at myself and realized my entire body was caked with mud. The long billowing night gown that I believe had once been white was now brown and stuck to my skin.
I stood up unsteadily and almost fell, but I managed to regain my balance. I felt like a new born baby walking for the first time. My legs were numb but feeling was slowly coming back to them. They shook ever so slightly and I held my arms out to keep myself from falling.
