I really want to make a note before you read this, this imagine is about a little girl with mental disabilities. I do not mean at all to offend any one in any way if it so happens I do. I do understand that this is a situation that can occure. I thought it would be interesting if I could write an imagine about how I think Liam would take it. If you do read, I hope you enjoy and if something wrong occurs please message me about it. As always, enjoy! :)
"Liam, grab Riley!" you hollered as a little girl of the age four ran as fast as she could. Of course she wouldn't get too far, but being new to parenting, you had to make sure she was safe at all times. Riley continued to run, placing one tiny purple shoe in front of the other. She wore a purple flowing shirt and a pair of pink, purple, and silver striped legging grandma Payne gave to her for her recent birthday. As well as her pair of pink glasses she used to see.
"I've got her, daddy's not gonna let his little girl get too far out of his sight." Liam said lifting her off the ground into his arms before he kissed her.
"Down dada, down." she giggled trying to push Liam off of her. Riley was only four yet she already knew she wanted to be independent.
"Liam, put her down. Lets leave the park and get her ice cream." you smiled at your husband of five years.
"You want ice cream, baby girl?" Liam asked Riley in which she responded by making her eyes bigger.
"Ahh! Ice Cream!" she screamed and clapped her hands.
"We all scream for ice cream, huh?" you asked her getting up off the rock you had been sitting on to meet Liam and Riley. Extending her hands up towards you and Liam both, you both looked down in aw at your daughter before grabbing her hands.
It was tough on its own to be a first time parent, but to be a parent of a child with disabilities was adding to it. Of course, Riley being a disability child did not mean you loved her any less, it actually brought you and Liam closer together. As well as loving her a million times more. Liam couldn't stand to spend a second with out his little girl so when he had to leave the country for business, it meant the whole family came along too. He would bring her to his concert, allow her to dance on stage while the boys were rehearsing, take her to interviews and introduced her to the crowds he was preforming for if she had been a good girl that day.
"Riley, hold da-da's hand, were gonna cross a street." You said before the three of you made your way across the street.
"Boph way, boph way." she said before crossing the street.
"Good girl, Riley. We have to check both ways before we cross the street." Liam said. It was good how quick she was learning, but she didn't always remember what she was told like most children did.
Once Riley had her hands in her ice cream and almost on Liam's shirt, Liam looked deep into your eyes. It had been a long time since Liam had really looked at you. It was good, you thought. Like falling in love with him all over again.
"Is everything alright Liam?" You asked concerned.
"Yeah, my life is perfect. I have the most amazing wife as well as the best daughter a man could ask for." Liam said kissing Riley's head. "However, management called. I need to be in America in two days. They said I shouldn't bring my family." Liam words hit you like a brick.
"Why on earth would they say we couldn't come? Liam, if you're using this as an excuse to leave us, just go. We cant stop you." the words fell out of your mouth with tears falling too.
"Absolutely not! I could never leave the two of you. I love you more then words could describe! I wasn't finished." Liam said reaching across the picnic table to hold your hand. "I replied by saying I would not be able to make it if I couldn't bring my girls.."
