The audition was soon to happen and many people signed up for this. The judges were Esther Smith, leader of the drama club; the drama teacher- Mr. Keys; the English teacher- Mrs. Keys; and the vice principle, who once was the assistant of a famous producer. (Apparently there was a rumor about the Keys. One of the senior mentioned they were in the kitchen 'ALONE'. And two months after the incident they ended up together). Let us all start the audition," Esther announced. The audience seated excitedly. Some were looking forward for the contestants, some were just happy they're missing out some of the classes, and the nerds weren't happy and tried to protest. One of the member from the student council tried to calm the group and explain about the importance of the drama. (the other member from the student council kind of threatened the nerds)
"Ah, 42 contestants joined the audition today. Interesting isn't it?" Ms. Junny, the vice principle smiled to the other judges. "It's great. But I hope we'll find the right character. Some of the students aren't even experienced," Mr. Keys replied with a grumpy mood . (He is serious). "Let the audition begin!" Esther announced. The first contestant was unexpectedly Primose Serich. hen she started acting, it was terrible. She seems to stutter a lot. The audience started booing her and started throwing wastes on her. Primose ran away with tears in her eyes. "Um uh, that was weird," Mrs. Keys commented, "Call out the next contestant,"
37 contestants later, Esther started to lose hope. So were the teachers and vice principle. "Next!" Esther called out loud. It turned out to be Brian. He cleared his throat.
"It is my lady, O, it is my love!
O, that she knew she were! She speaks, yet she says nothing. What of that? Her eye discourses; I will answer it.I am too bold, 'tis not to me she speaks. Two of the fairest stars in all the heaven,Having some business, do entreat her eyesTo twinkle in their spheres till they return.
What if her eyes were there, they in her head? The brightness of her cheek would shame those stars,
As daylight doth a lamp. Her eye in heaven Would, through the airy region, stream so brightThat birds would sing and think it were not night.See, how she leans her cheek upon her hand.O, that I were a glove upon that hand,That I might touch that cheek!"
Mr. Key who was drinking his water, suddenly spitted out. "OH GREAT HEAVENS! HE JUST SAID A WHOLE MONOLOUGE! YOUSHOULD BE IN THE MOVIES!"
"That's too kind sir," Brian blushed a bit.
"He has really good manners too. That was amazing," Ms. Junny complimented.
"Next!" Esther called out.
Messika came and the crowd went wild.
"Oh Messika! Great seeing you here. You can start," Mrs. Keys said.
"'Tis but thy name that is my enemy;
Thou art thyself, though not a Montague.
What's Montague? It is nor hand, nor foot,
Nor arm, nor face, nor any other part
Belonging to a man. O, be some other name!
What's in a name? That which we call a rose,
By any other word would smell as sweet.
So Romeo would — were he not Romeo called —
Retain that dear perfection which he owes
Without that title. Romeo, doff thy name,
And for that name, which is no part of thee,
Take all myself."
The judges were impressed.
"I think this time, we'll indeed find great actors," Esther lit up, "Next!"
The next was awful as the others. 'Guess my hopes were too high,' Esther thought. Her face looked disappointed. The last contestant was Carolina Richardman. The crowd was even wilder.
Esther's disappointed face disappeared. Everyone knows Carolina's famous talents- drama and music.
"Greetings to you friends. Sorry, I didn't come sooner. The best is always last!" Carolina babbled.
"Thou knowest the mask of night is on my face,
Else would a maiden blush bepaint my cheekFor that which thou hast heard me speak tonight.Fain would I dwell on form; fain, fain denyWhat I have spoke. But farewell, compliment.Dost thou love me? I know thou wilt say 'Ay,' And I will take thy word; yet if thou swear'st,Thou mayst prove false. At lovers' perjuriesThey say Jove laughs. O gentle Romeo,
If thou dost love, pronounce it faithfully;
Or if thou thinkest I am too quickly won,
I'll frown and be perverse and say thee nay,So thou wilt woo, but else not for the world. In truth, fair Montague, I am too fond,And therefore thou mayst think my behavior light. But trust me, gentleman, I'll prove more trueThan those that have more coying to be strange.I should have been more strange, I must confess,But that thou overheard'st, ere I was ware,My true-love passion. Therefore pardon me,And not impute this yielding to light love,Which the dark night hath so discoverèd."
The crowd had a standing ovation. The judges were greatly impressed. The audition was over and students started going back to class. Esther came out to talk to the contestants.
"I have chosen the selected characters for the role. All of you were great and tried your best. Now here are the names chosen-"
Everyone held their breathe.
"Carolina, Messika, and Brian," Some students were smiling, some tried to hide their jealous face.

"You really did great Messi!" Brian said, trying to reassure her friend. Messika didn't get the role of Juliet, instead she's the nurse. "I think being a nurse is great. It may not be the major character but you can do this," Brian smiled.
"Ugh, how did Carolina even get that role?" she asked herself angrily. She muttured something to herself, which got Brian bewildered.

That's odd. Messika is never late,' Brain wondered to himself. Messika must have been so serious about the role in the drama. Carolina suddenly came to Brian. "Hey, you," Carolina called out. "Uh, me?" Brian asked. "Yeah, yeah. Are you dating Messika or did she ask you?" Carolina glowered at him. "Errr, no. We're just excellent friends," Brain stated. "How much do I need to pay?" Carolina asked. Brain's eyes twitched. It doesn't feel suitable to be treated like that. So he stood up and said the most unusual thing-"Can you stop? No one likes you! They only do that because OF YOUR DAD AND HIS MONEY. And also the credit card and money you use to buy your 'friends' designer clothes aren't even YOURS. IT'S YOUR DAD'S" Brian snapped. Carolina was astonished. Her face went red. She tried to yell, but she couldn't. Instead, she turned around in embarrassment. 'I think......I shouldn't say that...' he thought.
