She was a year younger then her sister Kaylie. She never quite fit in with her sister's friends but she still played with them.
The only one she really had to play with was her mom the kids in her grade made fun of her for being small so she had no friends.
So you can see that she was hurt badly when her mom died.
Its been harder for her. She knows her sister's friends loved her mom too. So she didn't have a hatred feeling for them when they cried she knew they felt the same way.
She just wants to see them again to see if it impacted their lives like it did hers.
