It was an ordinary day. You had finished school and now it was time for you to head to your favourite place the arcade.
You entered the arcade, the cold air making you shiver a little.
"Good afternoon" you greeted the lady at the counter
"Good afternoon, does your card still have enough points in it?" She said with a smile
"Yes it does" you said happily
"Alright then go enjoy kiddo, see ya around" she said
"Hmm, see you as well" you said while giving her a nod and then running inside
You had known the lady for a long time now, her name was Park Minjoo, and she had become your friend due to your frequent visits. On top of that, she was very nice as she would occasionally pay for your points and even buy you snacks. You could not be more thankful for her
Entering the arcade, you were surrounded by the sounds of the different buttons being clicked, the fidgeting of the joysticks, the pop of bright colours in the darkroom that was dimly lit and the sound of people groaning in agony after losing the game and some being happy
You went to your favourite game, It was a competitive game that showed the names of the top players, and you brought on the 1st-rank
Well, that is what you thought you would see but the reality was that you had seemed to be taken over by someone named...
"Bunbun? That's a cute name" You said to yourself with a chuckle
"Well it looks like Bunbun won't be on top for long" you said and you swiped your card, paid for the game, entered your username, and started to play.
After two rounds you could finally beat Bunbun, but the difference between your ranks was only 3 points. You hoped that this person wouldn't take you over again.
Looking at your phone screen, you saw that it had already been 3:42. You panicked as your after-school classes were about to begin and left in a hurry not without saying bye to Minjoo.
