Chapter Twenty Two

Matteo looked at me and saw I was looking at him with my hand on my belly

"I promise you nothing will happen to our kids. You'll be safe in Italy," He said and kissed my forehead before letting me go and heading to the closet

He grabbed my bag and started packing my stuff

"You'll love Italy. I still have four brothers there you haven't met and an aunt and uncle that is so nice. My men there will take care of you and protect you until I find a way back to you okay," He said as he packed my stuff

"This won't end fast Matteo and people will get hurt or die," I said

"Baby look at me. I will do anything to make sure my family stays safe. You, your brothers, you all are now a part of that family. I promise you I'll come back to you four even if I have to burn everyone in my way to do that," he said sipping up my bag and walking to me

"Once you get in Italy I'll call you one time before everyone's cells will be discontinued so it will be the last time you will hear from me until I am done killing that bastard," He said and kissed me

"Now get changed fast please baby," he said

I got changed quickly and when I got downstairs everyone was already waiting while the guards were checking their guns

"Hades just called Jay and Josh is all packed up and they are heading to the plane now," Matteo said

"Good," I said but wondered about Rose Wyatt's girlfriend

We headed out and the guards followed. We had seven cars in total two cars in front full of guards then in the third we had Dad, Grandpa, both uncles, and Beth. In the fourth car, it was Allie, Ace, Lucas, Matteo and I behind us in the fifth car was Julian, Felix, Hector, Ben and Diego, and behind them were two more cars full of guards.

We made our way through the city and once we passed the airport and into the hanger side Mattek looked at me and said, "Here take this and keep it close to you no matter what. This necklace has a tracking chip inside so I'd know where you are all the time,"

I nodded my head and placed it around my neck. Once we stopped Matteo said, "No taking chances. You girls head straight into the plane with us,"

"Matteo," Allie said stopping him from opening the door

"You called for backup right?" She asked

"I did baby sister don't worry," He said

We went into the plane and sat down. Matteo gave a few guards instructions before he came to me and kissed me on my forehead

"Promise me you'll come back to us," I said

"I promise I'll do everything I can love," He said

"Matteo the rest is here. We should leave. It's 1 am already and they should arrive in Italy at 3:30 pm where Vice will pick them up and take them to your house," Ace said

"Okay," He said to Ace before looking at me and saying, "I love you," 

"And I love u," I said back just before he kissed me and left the plane. Once everyone was in they closed the doors and the pilot said, "Fasten your seatbelts please we're about to take off," 

We all buckled up and I took a deep breath and closed my eyes while the plane started moving. Once we got in the air Jay, Lucas, Josh, and Hades went to the table side and started playing cards while Beth asked me to play with her hair as she sat down in front of me 

Since it would be a few hours until we get to Italy Dad said, "We all should sleep so that we aren't tired when we land,"

"We'll sleep in a while Dad. I don't think any of us will get much sleep," Allie said before she sat down next to me
