Walking back to their table felt like a dream. I never really thought I'd ever meet anyone famous, much less here.
I reached their table, but just as I did so, my phone went off. Of course I forgot to turn my volume off. I was lucky they were my age, or I'd have to sit and listen to old people lecture me about bringing my phone while I work.
"Sorry - my BeReal went off," I said, trying to diffuse the awkwardness of me having to claw to get my phone and turn it off.
"Wow. You still use that?" said the boy with the beanie, who I now recognized as Chris.
I looked at him, feigning offense. "You don't?" I quipped back. The two in the back laugh slightly as one of the boys puts his hand out.
"Me and Madi can be in your BeReal since Chris wants to be rude," he said.
I smile at him, thinking about his offer.
"Well if I'm handing my phone to you can I at least know your name?"
The boy introduced himself as Nick, going around the table and pointing to Chris, Matt, and Madi. Of course I knew their names since Alyssa told me who they were, but I wasn't about to be creepy about it.
"I'm Ciara," I said as I finally gave him my phone. He pulled the camera up high, getting both him and Madi in the shot. I took my phone back quickly as I posed for the camera.

I smiled after taking the picture, posting it immediately. That was sure to have Alyssa going ballistic in a few minutes.
"Anyways, back to what I was here for," I laugh nervously, "what can I get for you guys?".
I felt my phone buzzing insistently in my apron, but I ignored it as I continued taking their orders. I already knew it was Alyssa, but I figured she could wait a few minutes until my break.
Walking into the kitchen to get my staff meal, I plucked my phone from my pocket to answer it.
