After a year or so of working in the band with Calum and the rest of the guys Calum decided that it was time to ask Elizabeth out on a date. That evening it was raining pretty hard but he didn't care, he was determined to have her as a girlfriend. He went to the store and bought a dozen roses and a box of chocolates. He drove to her house at 10PM. The rain was at it's hardest point when he arrived, he didn't care. He grabbed the roses and chocolates and knocked on her door. He was standing there in the pouring rain for a minute while he waited for Elizabeth to answer her door. When she finally answered he got on his knee, dripping wet, and said
Calum: Elizabeth, I've loved you ever since I met you and I was wondering if you would do me the pleasure of being my girlfriend.
Elizabeth: *puts her hands on her mouth and laughs* of course I will, why don't you come inside and get dry?
Calum goes inside. Elizabeth raps a towel around the soaking Calum.
Elizabeth: Why were you standing there in the rain?
Calum: Because I couldn't wait to ask you another day, it had to be today. I love you and I just needed you to be mine. I couldn't stand the thought of another guy being yours.
Elizabeth: Awe *hugs Calum and gets a little wet from his shirt*
Calum: Oop, your getting a little wet from me...
Elizabeth: I don't care *smiles and hugs tighter*
Calum: *eyes widen, puts hand under Elizabeth's chin and pulls her head up to look at him while her arms are still wrapped around him, kisses her on the forehead 2 times then another 2 times on the lips.*
After Calum was dry they sat on the couch together, cuddling, listening to the sound of the rain.
