Happier with you- Bill Weasley

OOTP 8

The kids had all headed back to school and other than work and Order meetings Phoenix had just been spending all her free time with Bill unless he was busy then she'd be with Sirius. She'd agreed to go see Charlie so was currently getting ready to apparate to his place. Phoenix apparates to Charlies and instantly feels sick.

"Oh god" She mutters as Charlie walks out to meet her.

"You alright Nix?"

"Yeah, just feel a bit queasy"

"I thought you didn't get like that anymore when you apparate" Charlie says looking at her.

"I don't except for the past week"

"Is it only after apparating you feel sick?"

"I mean, I've felt a bit sick a couple of times this week" He raises an eyebrow at her "What?"

"Nix, is there any chance you might be pregnant?"

"No, no way" She looks at him slightly in shock.

"Nix"

"Oh god"

"Come on" He wraps his arm around her shoulder and leads her to the sofa "Sit, I'll go get you a test" He leaves and reappears shortly after. He hands her the tests. "I got you a couple of different ones because I wasn't sure which one was better"

"Thanks Charlie" Phoenix mutters as she heads to the bathroom. As soon as the times up she looks at the test in her hand. Positive. "Oh shit" She sits there just looking at the test until a knock on the door distracts her.

"Hey Nix, is everything okay? You've been in there a while" She opens the door to her best friend.

"I'm pregnant"

"We'll figure it out, come on" They head back to the living room and sit down. 

"How do I tell Bill? We haven't even spoken about this sort of thing yet"

"Bill loves you. He might be shocked at first but you'll work it out together"

"Thanks Charlie" She spends a couple of hours with him before heading to Bills apartment. She knocks and waits for him to open it.

"Nix, I thought you were with Charlie today" He moves to one side so she can come in.

"I was but I needed to talk to you about something important"

"What's wrong" Bill asks, placing his hands on her waist so she can't turn away.

"I'm pregnant Bill" He looks at her shocked for a moment before he smiles at her.

"We're going to have a baby?"

"You're not mad or upset?"

"Why would I be, the love of my life is carrying my baby" She smiles at him as he wraps his arms around her, pulling her closer. "Phoenix, move in with me?"

"You want to live with me?"

"I've wanted to for a while"

"Why don't you move in with me? My place is bigger and we're going to need somewhere bigger"

"Fine" He smiles at her "How about we stay here tonight and start moving things tomorrow"

"Okay" He places his lips on her and picks her up, she wraps her legs around his waist as he walks to the bedroom not breaking the kiss. "You know this is how we got into this little problem in the first place" She says smiling at him.

"Well, it's not like you can get anymore pregnant is it" He smirks at her as he places her on the bed.
