In the evening
Avu-What are you doing! Put me down!
Sid-you need rest before your surgery as Dr said
Avu-He said a good sleep would help..Not a complete bedrest!

Avu rolled her eyes
He closed off the lights
Avu groaned
Avu-i am not sleepy!!

She sighed
Avu-Would you atleast come in and cuddle with me?

Sid-Don't tempt me with your offers you need sleep

She listened to the rustle of sheets and smiled

Avu brought her hands to his face and started moving her fingers in circle

She felt him smile against her mouth and in no time she felt asleep

In the operation theatre
Avu's vision felt blurry due to anesthesia though she wasn't unconcious yet
