(A/n: I am using the same plot start for this story cuz I don't feel like thinking of one and this one seems good.)
Year 2035. It's been 14 years since all went to shit and no one could do anything about it but suck it up and try to survive. 14 years since the world came to an end and everything changed. I, Rosetta Ruby was only 4 when it happened. At the time I still lived in the orphanage but was thrown out only after 3 months because there wasn't enough 'food and water the all of us'.
Why was I the only one thrown out and not a few other kids. But honestly I wasn't surprised considering everyone hated me for no reason. I was only 4 years old what had I don't wrong. I decided not to dwell on the past people karma is a bitch.
Ever since the world went to shit 14 years ago there have been a series of natural disasters such as floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, landslides, etc. But famine struck all. Without food or water that isn't sea water people either began dying or becoming weaker and are taken out by zombies or mutated monsters.
Yes you heard right, mutated monsters and zombies. Ever since everything went to shit only after the zombies appeared did monsters appear 3 years later. Monster and mutated monsters are completely different. Monster are beings that emerge from a black hole that appeared 3 times a month. Those monsters are sorted by tiers such as tier 1 tier 2 tier 3 and so on. But mutated monsters or beasts if you want to call them are animals that were changed and mutated due to the energy that was supplied to the world after the meteor hit the earth.
Because of this animals mutated. But the good thing is that even though the animals mutated all the animals that you would normally eat in your day to day life unless you were vegan or vegetarian were still edible. The meat from these animals would make super humans aka the awakened humans stronger and help them grow along with training. The only way to get stronger is by fighting monsters and zombies. The mutated animals and monsters also have elemental powers like the super humans. The more you use your power the stronger you become.
Along with mutated animals there are also mutated plants. Plants that you would see in a fantasy book or a fantasy magic book or something has come to life. Anything you could think of pretty much have come to life. The world took a huge turn making things you never though would come to life come to life.
The intelligence of these mutated animals, monster and zombies where scary as well. They had the intelligence like a human. As for zombies they maintained their humans emotions and skills. Let's say a zombie was in the army or a cop they would keep their skills such as shooting fighting etc.
But the most important thing to a zombies are the three Fs. Food Fight and Fuck. The one most important zombie you should be carful for and that is the Alpha Zombie because if you get caught your either good as dead, at the mercy of the Alpha zombie aka the leader of a zombie horde or you might become a play toy it's all up the the Alpha Zombie.
Along with the multiple natural disasters there came new biomes and seasons. What once was winter has now become summer but over 200 degrees which would and could probably kill anyone as if your in a desert.
The world was no longer the same and so where the people. Now there where clans and bases around. Not everyone was safe and you have to be careful of both zombies and humans as well as monsters. The mutated animals not so much as they where and are still docile animals unless you provoke them in some way. That goes the same way for predators such as lions, tigers etc. They are also mutated creatures.
Before my death which I was told was an hour ago I used to live in the South district of Country C. The South district used to be known as the slums where the poor and homeless people lived. The West district is where the rich people lived as well as the north district and the East district which is for of the well off but not rich kind of people such as the middle class. The east district is the only district the homes poor and homeless people as well as orphanages. A place for the unwanted and the undesirable.
Right now I am currently in front of a white man in all white long robe with a long white beard sitting on a cushion with me sitting in front of him also on a cushion staring at him in confusion.
"W-wait what did you say?."
The man in all white sighs, "I said I am going to reborn you but not before the world went to shit but the same place you died and after the zombies finished feasting on you. You will only have a intact body."
"Are you serious? What did I do to deserve this?" I was confused. Why would he give me a second chance and what for?.
"Well I've seen your life and how it played out and was very unpleased. You were to young to be thrown out and also the wolf should have gone to shit so soon but alas humans are fools. Which is why I'm going to change a few things. I have a surprise for you and I have two missions for you."
"Mission? Surprise? Huh what did I do to deserve this." I was beyond grateful but nevertheless why me?.
"Well I'm not going to tell you the surprise all I will say is that you will know all of them because you have seen them before. I will also make it so that they can naturally have a sense on where to go or who to find after all you are their soul mate."
"I'm their what?!."
"Oh don't worry it's nothing dangerous just have fun and don't be reckless and be careful of the girls."
"Now for your two missions and your gift. I am giving you this mission because it is up to to save the world. Your mission is to build a new civilization and start the world over a new era and your second mission is...."
His next words put me on edge. I really had no idea what to expect. Until he said it.
"To live your life...."
He wants me to live my what? My life? What for? To build a civilization for others then get betrayed and thrown away like garbage?.
"You will understand when you leave here and meet all of them. And for your gift I'm only giving you a system to help you in your first mission and an extra element power. Good luck my child fare well and do take care of all of them."
"H-ey wa-!" But I didn't get to finish my words before everything went black and I could hear see and feel nothing.
