The Start Of Us

It had been a week since me and Mindy found out Amber was most likely one of the killers, however, we hadn't said anything about it because we needed more proof before telling the world that one of our closest friends was the killer. To us it is the truth, but in the eyes of the town it would only seem like we were trying to frame her. Which is exactly why we HAD to get proof. It's Friday afternoon and you're scrambling through your closet to find a cute outfit for a small party your friend Justin is throwing, as Wes lays on your bed. "All I'm saying is that going to this party is stupid, you're the one who made the rules you should know better than anyone that parties are where most of this crap goes down." "I didn't exactly make the rules I just made them a bit more obvious." "Still." "But you're right." "So why go?" "It's gonna be small, like ten people max its not like the parties Amber throws." "The killer could still attack." I peek my head out of the closet. "I know, but I really wanna go," you say while puckering your lip. "No...NO, no we're not going y/n." "Pleaseeee! I'm going with or without you, so you might as well just come." Wes sighs. "Fine, but you better not leave my side." "Thank you thank you thank you!" You walk out of the closet and spin around showing off your outfit. It was nothing too fancy but it was cute, you wore a black crop with a picture of Nightmare on elm street plastered across it and a short black leather skirt, you had stockings on and black boots, a small black choker around your neck, and a bit of makeup on but not too much just eyeliner, mascara and a nude lipstick. Wes blushed slightly before responding. "I uhm- you look good." You plop on the bed in front of him. "Why thank you, kind sir." You say in a playful British accent, making him chuckle. "Your something else." "Yeah? But that's why you love me." You smile and scrunch your nose. "Do I? Hmm I don't know, let me think about it." He said teasingly while looking up like he was thinking, you grabbed a pillow and playfully hit him with it in the face. "Meanie!" You said before laughing with him. "I'm only kidding, I love you." As he said that both of the smiles slowly faded from your faces as you realized how close you both were to one another, your faces were almost touching and it wasn't until now that you both realized. Both of your hearts racing like crazy, Wes bravely leaned in and placed a soft kiss on your lips but quickly pulled away. He looked at you to make sure it was okay, you pulled him close and kissed him more passionately. The two of you continued to kiss for several minutes until your phone rang. You reached over and grabbed your phone to see Chad's picture appear, you answer it and put it up to your ear. "Yeah?" "Dude, where the hell are you guys? Mindy is annoying me with her dumb horror talk and I don't understand a damn thing she's saying." Chad said sounding aggravated, as you chuckled. "We're on our way, hang in there." "Hurryyyy!" You hang up and get off the bed heading toward the door. "Come on lover boy, chads desperate." Wes rushed over to the door following you out while trying his best to hide how hard he was blushing, you always gave him nicknames but that one sent butterflies to his stomach. As you arrive at the party Chad immediately jumps up from the couch and over to you. "Thank GOD! I'm gonna go find Liv." You chuckle and sit next to Mindy. "So what are-" You were interrupted by your friend Justin as he walked over to you with his arms open and a drink in his hand. "Y/n you made it!" "Did you really think I wasn't gonna come? How rude of you to doubt me." You say jokingly as he chuckled. Wes whose eyes were filled with jealousy, he turns his attention to the tv where 'Halloween 4' was playing. Once Justin walked away you sat down next to Wes and looked at the tv. "OOH Halloween four! My favorite!" Wes looked over at you and smiled as Mindy rolled her eyes. "The first one is better." "Obviously, nothing beats the original. But this is always gonna be my favorite." Wes puts his arm around you and you lay your head on him. The three of you watch the movie for a bit until Mindy turns her head and notices you guys in each other's arms. She looks at you both in confusion. "Did I miss something?" "I'll catch you up later." you chuckle as you get up. "I'm gonna go get a drink." "Don't-" Mindy starts but is cut off by you. "I know, I know, I'm not stupid." You say while holding your hand out for Wes to grab. "Like I was gonna let you go on your own." He says while taking your hand and walking to the kitchen with you. After getting a a drink you yell to Wes so he can hear you over the music. "Dance with me!" You grab his hand and pull him to the dining room where it's less crowded and you both start dancing. After the party you and Wes head outside to your car. You stumble as you make your way to the drivers side nearly falling but Wes quickly catches you just in time. "YOU are not driving." He says while taking the keys out of your hand and helping you walk to the passengers side. He helps you buckle yourself in and then shuts your door. He jogs over to the drivers side and starts the car. After a few minutes of driving you wake back up and look over at Wes who glances at you and smiles. "You okay?" "Mhm... just tired." "We're almost to your house." Once you guys arrive he helps you up to your room and places you down gently on the bed and takes off your shoes tossing them aside. He kisses your forehead and goes to turn off the lamp but you grab his arm. "Can you stay the night?" "Yeah, just let me go get a blanket and-" "Don't be stupid, since when do you sleep on the floor your dork? Get up here." You say while patting the spot next to you, he chuckles and shuts off the lamp as he crawls in bed with you. You scoot closer to him and lay on his chest, he smiles and wraps his arm around you pulling you closer to him.
