"CHEF!" I screamed from my living room. He was over for our daily visit when I got the call.
"What is it, my little bugger?" he replied. I felt my cheeks get hot. He knew what that nickname did to me! Not cool to exploit!
"Babe, our show got renewed for a season two! We're going to get to see each other all day, every day! Isn't that great?!" I couldn't believe this was actually happening! We had jobs again! I was going to get to let the world see how beautiful I was! Chef got to keep living his dream. Everything seemed perfect in our lives.
"WHAT?! THAT'S AMAZING!" he screamed. I shot up from my seat and ran into his arms. I was finally in a relationship with someone that would understand my excitement about things and get as happy as I would. I felt on top of the world. I felt unstoppable. Not like I could ever be stopped. I'm Chris Mclean! "Chris, I'm so glad this is happening. I get to see the one I love every day while doing what I love. Everything is so perfect."
I paused at his words. "What did you just say?" Did he really drop the L-bomb? I mean, I was well beyond ready to say it, but I was planning on revealing it first! This was so not cool!
"You heard me, bugger. I love you. I know we've only been dating for a few months, but I've never been more sure of anything. I love you. I love you so much. You may just be the love of my life." All I could do at that moment was kiss him. I kissed him as if I had never kissed anyone before. I was in love. And nothing was going to stop us. No matter what the producers said, no matter what the campers or the public found out. We were going to keep loving each other until it wasn't an option anymore.
