I opened my eyes and found myself in the dark place which no light in it. What is this place?

I don't know nor remember of how I end up here. I tried to remember yet, I can't. It like my memories about myself has been erased completely.
Who am I?
Do I even has a family?

Where am I actually?

Someone… please answer me.

How much time has passed actually? Days? Weeks? Month? Year? I don't know. My sense of time here become dull after been trapped here for unknown amount of times.
???: *sigh* I stop talking to myself.
Trapped in this place for a long times make me lost all of my emotions. I feel like an empty hollowed soul.
If I am allows to wish, I wish nothing but to be free from this place. To be able to meet other people, to find something that entertain and maybe has a warm place to call a home. That the only thing I desire, nothing more nothing less. Because of that, I beg, I plead, and I lower my head.

As if someone or something answer my pleaded, a screen made out of light appeared in front of me.
An ethereal light was emanating from it, giving me hope. The moment I saw it, I was beckoned to get closer like a moth to a flame. As I reached closer, I thought "Will I finally be free?" I reached out and "touched" it. It glowed and suddenly show me something.
