Chapter 1

 2 Days Later

Japan

On a Saturday Evening

At the Apartment where Himeko used to live 

Himeko is currently studying for her upcoming finals as she is going to graduate soon 

Suddenly someone rang the doorbell to her apartment causing her to check who it was

And when she opened the door, she was shocked to see her Father holding a girl 

Himeko: Dad who is she?!

Ryusuke: I'll explain later, do you have a first aid kit?

Himeko: Yes, it's in my bed follow me

With that both Father and Daughter headed there with Ryusuke telling Himeko that he found the girl running away from someone and fell unconscious when he spotted the kid, causing him to call the police as he run away from those who are chasing the girl

But in truth Ryusuke took the kid out of Schicksal as he was reading what are the personnel doing to her while Pepper Mint is finding away to wake her up and despite being an enemy of humanity the girl is still a child and was only misguided 

When they managed to reach the airport so he can take the kid away from Schicksal's reach Pepper Mint give him a suggestion to keep the girl inside the Sugar Fortress until they reached to Japan due to the airport's security, to which to Ryusuke's surprise the girl was still asleep during and after they got to Japan and from there he and Pepper Mint think of a cover story for her as he can't tell this to his daughter or else she'll be in trouble as well

And luckily Himeko believed at him as he treated the little injuries the girl had left as the girl healed herself unconsciously from the wounds it got when Schicksal personnel is trying to wake her up in any means necessary

After he treated the girls injuries, Himeko decided to talk to her dad as they left the girl in her room alone to talk about what to do about the girl as she needed to know if the police had caught the one's responsible for what happened 

The Next Day

As Himeko's Father is sleeping in the couch, Himeko enters her room to check the girls condition 

When she checks the girl, she saw the girl slowly waking up and from there the girl spoke in a raspy voice

???: W-Where am I?

Himeko: My Dad found you unconscious while he is heading home here 

???: I-I don't remember that

From there the girls tries to raise her body with Himeko helping her as she is struggling little

Himeko: But do you remember your name?

Agata: A-Agata is my name I think but other than that I can't remember anything else

Himeko: I see, I'll get you some water okay-

But as she was about to leave Agata suddenly raises her hand to hold Himeko's arm to stop her as she felt suddenly agitated 

Agata: P-Please don't leave me

As Himeko saw this, she faces Agata and holds the hand she used to hold her arm and told Agata that she'll be right back as she isn't alone anymore and was safe from harm, which caused Agata to stay calm for awhile as Himeko gets a glass of water and comes back just as she said to her, with Agata drinking a glass of water 

With this Ryusuke woke up minutes later and headed to the room where Himeko and Agata, where Agata suddenly tensed due to Ryusuke still wearing his lab coat from Schicksal causing him to remove it and apologize to Agata and reassuring she is safe now 

A few minute's later

As Himeko starts to cook breakfast with her father helping her with Agata sitting on the table looking at Himeko's apartment room as she stays in one place Himeko spoke

Himeko: Hey dad

Ryusuke: Yes 

Himeko: When Agata woke up I feel something huge will change from now on

Ryusuke: Is that so?

Himeko: Yep, I can feel it 

Ryusuke: We could make her your adopted younger sister you know?

Himeko: Eh that fast?!

Ryusuke: I have my ways I'll get the papers ready today after breakfast since I got a call from the police earlier that those who are responsible are taken care off and will be put to jail for there crimes, but will it be alright for you if we adopt her since she doesn't have the same eye color as ours

Himeko: I don't care about what people will say about her dad, I'm going to be her older sister now so I'll do anything to protect her from any kind of trouble and make her the happiest person in the planet

This made Ryusuke chuckle as his daughter's answer and from there he spoke

Ryusuke: Very well then, I'll do my best as a father to help her as well

With that they continued to make breakfast until it was ready with Himeko and Ryusuke telling the news to Agata which made Agata happy 

After they eat breakfast, Pepper Mint spoke to Ryusuke while he is cleaning the dishes as he volunteered as Himeko takes Agata to the mall to get some clothes for her(Agata took a bath first and changed clothes before that) 

Pepper Mint: Are you sure with this decision buddy?

Ryusuke: . . .Yes, Despite her being a Pseudo-Herrscher, she seems to have no memory of what she did during the 2nd Honkai War so this is chance for her to see the good of humanity and if the time comes she'll fight for humanity, but that'll depend on Agata's choices

Pepper Mint: I hope you won't regret your decision 

Ryusuke: I won't after all what Himeko felt is right I believe Agata will make a huge change in this world, there will be obstacles she'll face but I believe she can get passed those to be a greater person in the future

Pepper Mint: If you say so

After that he continued to clean the dishes and left to get the adoption papers ready for Agata to be adopted to the Murata Family with him returning an hour later when Himeko and Agata got home

From there Agata became Agata Murata
