As soon as Jasmine settled down in her dorm, she moved to a new one.
Not permanently of course, just to visit her friends.
She sighed.
It was just her luck. Her best friends all ended up in the same dorm, but she was stuck with two people she barely knew.
It could be worse she thought I could be stuck with Vennesa Seawidge or Megara Thesalone.
She walked down the hallway. Their dorm was first and nearest to the door to the rest of the school.
She was tempted to just come right in, but she knocked.
She heard some shuffling around in the dorm, then the door swung open.
It was Snow White.
Snow was one of a kind. She was the only girl in school that wore ties and fedoras. She had a streak of her hair dyed red.
But it wasn't her outfit that made her special.
It was her personality.
"Thank goodness you've come, Jaz."
Snow was the only person who had ever called her Jaz.
"These people have been driving me CRAZY!" she said throwing a glare towards her two dorm mates Aurora and Ella.
Snow continued with her rant.
"Aurora is the most indecisive person I have ever met, all morning it's been 'pink or blue?" she trembled a bit "And Ella? She literally tried to color organize her folders!"
"I would think in sophomore year would know how to use the word literally!" Ella snapped.
"Calm down, people!" Aurora interjected.
Yes, they were the best of friends.
"I am not entirely sure you three will make it through without someone getting a nervous breakdown," Jasmine commented.
"That," Snow said," was kinda the point."
Aurora being the peaceful one and calm one was sad all her friends weren't in the same formula
"Oh. . . Jasmine, I am soo sorry you didn't get put in our cabin," she said, giving her an awkward hug.
Jasmine plastered a fake smile.
"Don't be. I'm honesty fine. It will be nice to meet some new people."
"Who are your dorm mates?" Aurora inquired.
"Well their names are-"
But Snow interrupted her and pulled out the yearbook.
"Show us" she instructed.
She flipped to the freshmen pictures. Scanning the page she found the brown haired girl.
Isabelle.
"Here," she said pointing at the picture.
"Oh. I know her. We have English and Bio together. She's called Belle, pretty enough, but kind of nerdy," Snow said.
Jasmine wasn't surprised that Snow knew her. She knew every kid in the school and had a great deal to say about them.
"Who's your other dorm mate?" Ella asked.
Jasmine frowned. "She's not here. Must be new."
She closed the yearbook.
"Wait. . ." Snow said. "I have an idea,
"You know the project"
The other three girls nodded.
She didn't have to say another word.
The project was something Aurora had come up with in freshman year. Help someone come out of their shell. Let their inner beauty show that everyone else could see it, too.
And Belle Thomas was the perfect canditate.
