Jason is kicked out from the same bar for the tenth time this week, this made him very mad causing him to curse every employee that worked at that bar.He even tries to fight on one of the bartenders but he quickly got stopped by one of his friends Henry.
"You need to stop getting into trouble just because they didn't give you what you want, you need to calm down bro. It's been like 4 days and you still wanted to fight them? At this point you might as well just change your name to Karen"
Henry, a middle-aged man with a slightly mischievous glint in his eyes, chuckles softly under his breath as he leisurely reaches into the depths of his worn-out pocket, extracting a crumpled cigarette, its edges frayed and discolored from countless previous encounters. With a nonchalant gesture, he extends the offering toward his friend Jason, his gaze fixated on a small, unassuming puddle of water that has unknowingly become the focal point of his attention.
Yet, lost in his own thoughts, Jason remains oblivious to the conversation unfolding around him, the words of his companions falling upon deaf ears as they discuss matters of consequence and significance. Unbeknownst to Jason, the topic at hand touches upon elements of personal growth and self-reflection, resonating deeply within the recesses of his conflicted mind.
As the tendrils of smoke rise lazily from Henry's smoldering cigarette, a subtle reminder of his own vices, a quiet contemplation takes root within Jason's consciousness. Perhaps, he ponders, there is truth in Henry's words, their underlying wisdom veiled beneath the guise of casual banter. The notion that he should cease his penchant for trouble, abandon his reckless tendencies, and strive for a more tranquil existence begins to take hold, like a fragile seedling yearning for nourishment.
And yet, amidst this introspection, a specter lingers-a somber reminder of the consequences that have befallen Jason, casting a long shadow over his recent past. It was the dissolution of his marriage, a painful rupture that etched its sorrowful mark upon his soul. Since that fateful day, when his wife turned her back on their shared dreams, Jason has found himself consumed by a tempestuous maelstrom of emotions.
The once gentle currents of his temperament have morphed into torrents of anger and frustration, bubbling beneath the surface, threatening to overflow with the slightest provocation. The smallest inconveniences, once shrugged off with ease, now ignite a fiery wrath within him, kindling a blaze of fury that engulfs his reason and judgment.
As Jason stands there, gazing into the puddle's murky depths, his own reflection distorted and fragmented, he contemplates the interconnectedness of his choices, actions, and the repercussions they have borne. The realization dawns upon him that his unruly behavior has played a pivotal role in the unraveling of his marriage, a stark reminder of the consequences of his past actions that now haunt his present.
"Bro are you still listening?"
Henry asked as he blew off the smoke from his mouth,he looked very concerned of his friend who has been acting out of character
ever since his wife left."Look man..you need to stop thinking about her, just move on bro..she ain't going to get back with ya"
Henry, feeling the weight of the cigarette between his fingers, casually tosses it onto the worn pavement below, its ember glimmering momentarily before coming into contact with the ground, causing a small plume of smoke to rise. Reacting swiftly, he instinctively stamps out the glowing embers with the sole of his shoe, a gesture that combines both urgency and nonchalance. After ensuring the cigarette is completely extinguished, he lifts his gaze to meet the disheveled appearance of his friend.
"You should really get some therapy or something.. you look like a total mess..even a chimpanzee can wear clothes better than you" Henry says as he looks at the dark alleyway that's not very far away from the bar.
