The 100th Rejection

Chapter - 1 (The 100th Rejection)

Ever been rejected before? None the less 100th times..? Yeah it happened to me today, it actually makes my 70th rejection from a girl.. Sadly I haven't been able to land a single girlfriend. And in my world, it means you're weak and worthless as a man. Ever heard the saying "never give up"?

Yeah that's every males dream words and they stick to it everyday but lately it seems like i've given up plenty.

I was now heading to class, i'm in high school and the name's Sodera Ryuoki and i'm 15 years old.

My features consists of White hair and icy blue eyes and my face is always gloomy.

There's a reason for this though my childhood friend actually was the first to dump me. Rather she never really gave me an actual answer, ever since then i've had a mission to ask out as many girls as I could to get my mind off of her. It's been about 100 girls so far, and no kind of hope is there.

As I finally reached my classroom, I was met with one of my friends, Risari Jahi. His features consist of black hair and white eyes. And he wears glasses because he can't see as well as others, he's been my right-hand man for the longest time I can remember.

He looked at me with a disappointed expression as he knew that I asked another girl out. Yet he kind of just stood where he had been, looking concerned and his stance was odd as well.

"Risa, everything ok?" I asked him as he stepped forward and looked straight at me.

Finally approaching him, I stopped and smiled at him.

"Just wondering if you're ok man, that's all." He said with a worried tone.

"I'm fine.." I said slowly, as we both walked in class together with our bags on both our right shoulders.

I stopped and noticed new faces, 6 new girls..

As I stared at them, they stared back at me.

"Gonna try and ask them out too?" Risari said quietly behind me.

"Quiet you! Relax.. I've just never seen them." I said turning my to whisper at him.

"New transfer students, apparently they're from a military district." He explained, as he looked at them with me.

"I see.." I said, feeling a pencil tap my forehead.

Sighing I looked over to my right to see the girl that I first confessed feelings for.

"I see you haven't changed much Sodera.. You've began to become a savage with all these rejections. Why must you continue to be such a disgrace." She yelled as she got everyone in the class's attention.

"I- hold on.." I said out of words, but I wanted to shut her up because it wasn't fair for her to just say that out loud.

"No! Because you're making all the girl's here in the school uncomfortable." She yelled at me.

Her name's Suzuhisa Kami, but ever since I asked her out she wanted me to call her Suzuhisa because she didn't trust me enough to use her first name. Everyone in my area refers to everyone by their first name but if they call you by their last name it means they really appreciate you or enjoy you. It's sort of a trend on social media now..

"I won't hear it anymore. Stop looking for other girls if all they do is reject you. Maybe it's time to give it up.." Suzuhisa said, turning her back to me.

"I- I only did it because-" I said before hearing a little laughing behind me.

I turned my head and looked at all the students laughing and giggling to themselves.

"Listen.. Just. Stop looking for love. Maybe it's something about you that girls just don't like." Suzuhisa said as she walked to me and grabbed my hand.

As she felt my hand, trying to hold it.

I swiped my hand away from her, as I then ran out the door.

"Really Kami.. you've really done it this time." I heard Risari say before I ran and ran and ran out the building as fast as I could.

Making sure I wasn't followed, over and over in my head I kept thinking about how much of an idiot I was. Why does this happen to guys like me?
