It's been 5 days since Fiona's passing. The kingdom is unbelievably upset. She was truly loved by all. No one has even seen Shrek since the accident. He has been at home ever since
*Shrek sighs* He stands up to look in the pantry for any scrap of food when he realizes he ate the last piece of frog last night.
He tries to stay in bed but he soon realizes he has to eat, so stands up and starts to walk torwards the door to go to the market. He walks through the gates of the kingdom and sees everyone Infront of podium. Shrieks right hand man is trying to calm everyone down about the future of the town. But then they see Shrek and start to run torwards him for answers.
Shrek sighs, and tries to walk past them but isn't able to. So he instead walks up to the podium and taps the Mike for a check.
"Attention everyone. After the death of my beloved, I have not been myself. It would not be right for me to continue to be your king. There will be a vote for the new ruler this weekend. Thank you" he starts to walk off the podium and everyone ignores him this time, they are more focused on who's gonna win the new title.
Donkey was in the crowd. He is in shock. So he decides to pay his pal a visit later in the day, to try and change his mind.
