hiroka pov
third person

hiroka kept looking at the clock, wishing she could speed time up. she was only four hours into her 10 hour shift at the record store. the girl was beginning to get hungry. she had run out of water about an hour ago, but wasn't allowed to get a refill. so she suffered in silence, counting the money in the register.

hiroka was working hard, earning money for rent and to put towards a new electric guitar. her old one was very old. she had it since she was like 16 (it's only been like three years but that guitar has been through hell and back!!). she brought it everywhere, it had been played in three different bands throughout hiroka's high school time.

the black haired girl was minding her own business, stacking cd's at the desk when someone cleared their throat. hiroka let out a squeal and whipped around, her hand up in the air. once she saw who it was, she quickly lowered it. "god damn it keita, you scared the shit out of me." she sighed out as she turned back around to the table.

the boy laughed and shook his head. "i uh- i just stopped by to give you this, you look thirsty.." keita then handed her a small juice box. "how'd you know i liked grape?" hiroka took the drink into her hand, inspecting it. "i asked miyeong, she said that grape was also your favorite.." he mumbled, messing with his chain bracelet.

the ravenette smiled lightly, poking the straw through the hole and taking a sip. "thank you keita, i really was thirsty!" she giggled before she set the drink onto the desk beside her. "is there anything else you wanted?" hiroka tilted her head to the side.

keita's pov
first person

wait what?

"uhh. nope! that's it okay bye!" i stuttered out. the way she was looking at me with her pretty ass eyes.. anyways. i moved my bag higher up on my shoulder and smiled awkwardly. "oh! uhm, okay. i'll see you tomorrow, i guess?" hiroka said, it sounded more like a question though. "sure! i mean.. yeah i guess so." i mentally face palmed at myself.

this is so embarrassing..

"okay! bye ita!" the girl smiled at me. she lifted her drink to her lips and sent me a wave. i returned it and turned towards the door. once i had opened it, i looked back. she was back to stacking cd's and delicately putting them on the shelf behind her. she looked like she really enjoyed being around music.

any song by zico started playing faintly through the speakers. hiroka lightly hummed to it, her hands lightly doing the dance as she moved around.

"actually- i was planning to dye my hair soon.. you seem to have some experience from what i've seen in your posts... do you want to help me..?" i asked, WHY DID I SAY IT LIKE THAT... hiroka looked up from the shelf, her face contorting into a large smile.

"sure, i'd love to.. how is next saturday? does that work for you?" she asked, tilting her head and raising her eyebrow lightly. all i did was nod enthusiastically, like an idiot..

"okay, see you tomorrow. bye ita!" she turned around and walked off towards the break room. "bye hiro.." i left the store with a smile.
