Judith Collins was now Judith Wellester.
She found herself inside the pages of a novel she used to read called All About Us.
The story was a typical romance, centered around the innocent heroine, Verona Wellester, and Gabriel Vanderson, the richest man in the world. The two fell in love at first sight (cue the eye roll). Verona was captivated by Gabriel's cold demeanor and godlike features, while Gabriel was drawn to her pure, sweet nature and undeniable beauty.
But their love story wasn't without its challenges, the biggest being Verona's older sister, Judith Wellester.
Judith had been Gabriel's fiancée since birth, a match arranged by their families. But while Judith fell deeply in love with Gabriel, he couldn't return her feelings. It was a one-sided love on her part.
When Judith saw how Gabriel treated her younger sister like a precious treasure, jealousy consumed her. She became desperate to tear them apart, resorting to increasingly drastic measures. In her darkest moment, she even hired a hitman to eliminate her sister.
But things didn't go as planned. Gabriel discovered Judith's plot, and his response was brutal. He had Judith kidnapped and taken to a warehouse where she was tortured by thugs—raped, beaten, and ultimately left to die from her injuries.
And what of her family? The Wellesters didn't mourn Judith's death. They had never cared for their troublesome older daughter. Judith had only been a source of constant worry, a threat to their dreams of aligning with the powerful Vanderson family. They adored Verona, who was everything Judith was not, and were relieved when the "bad seed" was finally gone. Even the Vandersons were relieved, spared from having a daughter-in-law who could tarnish their pristine reputation.
In the end, Verona and Gabriel had a glamorous wedding, the kind that graced the covers of tabloids around the world. It was the most extravagant event, outshining even royal weddings. The couple lived happily ever after.

."FUCK THIS SHIT!"
Judith screamed, fury boiling inside her.
"WHY THE HELL DOES THE HEROINE'S NAME SOUND ALMOST IDENTICAL TO MY SISTER VERA'S?"
She seethed, her mind racing with the injustice of it all. "Yeah, the original Judith went too far by putting a hit on her sister, but what Gabriel did to her was so much worse!"
Her fists clenched, her nails digging into her palms. "I'm done with this! I'm done with all this shit happening to me and being out of my control! I'm not dealing with these characters or any obstacles in my way!"
She looked up, defiance burning in her eyes. "Do you hear me, God, or whoever is deciding my fate? I will walk my own path, and no one—no one—is going to stop me!"
