The wind howled through the window. I sat hugging my knees waiting for the storm to be over. Pit, Pat, Pit, Pat! The rain fell on the roof. Crack! Bang! The thunder glowed like a torch for mum to come and see me.
"Are you scared Renee?"
My mum asked her orange hair loose hanging over her shoulders.
"I'm scared too."
She sat next to me I cuddled into her.
It was a bit wierd hugging your mum at the age 14 but it made me fell comfortable.
But that night changed my whole life, knowing if wasn't born on this planet. Earth .
